I suggest posting this question in the "Parks General Discussion" area where there are more people who actually like Disney, closer to your arrival date. Who knows, by November Disney may actually follow the advice of posters here and shut down DHS.
Disney is making to much money to close it people are still willing to pay that much money to ride tower of terror and they great movie ride

I think its ok DL get it first. It's been years since DL has gotten anything really worthy.

Are you on something? DL gets far more regular investment as of late than WDW. New parades all the time for example. Disneyland doesn't "need" any expansion but multiple parks in Disney world "need" expansion or for God's sake replacing things left abandoned and or shuttered.

I don't count parades, and I am thinking DL park proper not the resort as a whole.

Disneyland and WDW are to completely different type of parks and entities. Disneyland is one day amusement park for most of its guest that come from the local area to spend a day. WDW is a vacation destination where the majority if not 80% of guest on any given day are on vacations in the Orlando area. This is why the development is different in the two entities. disneyland needs to keep new parades and shows etc because the people going come for the day and will come for a new show or a new event every year. WDW is not the same type of experience. It is why all the parks are part of WDW and not just the magic kingdom. People should not look at MK and compare to disneyland... As MK is part of the much bigger vacation destination.

What have we told you about presenting rational fact based arguments.

I am well aware of the differences but I am curious how the current condition of epcot or studios (until now) fits into how wdw should be run....because to me it seems like they lean on the MK a whole lot and use attendance and lack of returning guest as excuses to not invest. Eventually the blue ocean runs dry. I would think that 4 parks should see more investment than two that are side by side. Again I know the demographic differences but it shouldn't be an excuse. "Essentially we don't need to invest because our customer base is too stupid and only comes once in there lifetime"

Cause yes the parks were neglected but that neglect is a different topic then how WDW runs and how it should be looked at. WDW does not need a new parade in MK every year.

Now the state of Epcot no excuse for it none but money is slowly being spent even if we all don't like how it is happening. Soaring and that pavilion is getting work done, Frozen is coming, even if we are not fans of it. Test Track was redone a few years ago... It is not perfect but it is steps in the right direction of keeping it fresh....

Hollywood studios - is getting a huge make over similar to what they did to the park out west... so money is being spent.

Animal Kingdom is getting money spent and a new land opened.

MK got fantasyland even if we all would have liked more of this or that it did happen... don't think anything like that was built at Disneyland in the last 10 years....

Again the parks had been neglected and we would not have been in this state if they built something every year but they did not we can not go back in time and change it we have to see they saw the error in their ways and now they are spending and fixing

Yes
Eventually the blue ocean runs dry."

We've all been waiting eons for that to occur, but its still there. Quite a few of us are tired of the same old trite arguments that "If only.." somehow all the clouds would part, the sun would shine, and everyone would have an empty park of their own consisting of experience types that they enjoy would exist. They just ignore that it takes significant capital, planning, management, and time to do anything and none of these things exist in a business vacuum in isolation.

Agreed. WDW has certainly suffered from under investment and this is a problem. Luckily things are improving it seems, but still much needs to be done.

But I don't think that DLR and WDW should have similar investment patterns. It makes sense to update and change DLR's large entertainment offerings more frequently than WDW, but Disney should still be investing proportionally similar money in WDW creating other experiences.

I think they are currently.... Animal Kingdom Night Time Show, Star Wars Fireworks, New stage show at MK, new parade a few years ago.

No it is slow in comparison but I really hope this is the tide that is finally changing in a positive direction.
