I know that space is going to be used for SWL someday, but I'd love it if that space, Toon Town, and Fantasyland Theater were all used for a new land all together.
Would probably be a Frozen Land identical to what Paris is getting if that was the case.

A Frontierland expansion would be awesome. I'd love a smaller-scale version of Nature's Wonderland.

The Frozen Land comment was just me being a realist lol

Imagine: Western River Expedition intertwined with Nature's Wonderland

Only problem with that would be it wouldn't be pressed up against ROA

Some places (blogmickey) are saying they see the beginnings of the Millennium Falcon exterior ship being built, but I think they're wrong.

Compared to the model, that new circular structure is just too small. The tip of the real Falcon should get pretty close to the cantina.

I've got this supposed Falcon in brown, with the actual Falcon in green. I think they might be building a dome to lift and place elsewhere in the land. Or there might be some smaller circular structure within/under the Falcon.

What's there may be the base it sits on. Movies can have thin legs upon which a spaceship sits, not so earthbound structures in theme parks with strict building codes.

Disney is building almost the exact same SWL in three different parks around the world- Anaheim, Florida, and Paris. Hopefully, this stops the whole world of Star Wars fans from swarming Anaheim after the ride opens, and just draws from the local tourist crowds, while Disney World takes the brunt of the tourists.

If they were building three unique lands, it'd be different- but in this cookie cutter approach, the need for fans to go away from their local park is diminished.

It wouldn't surprise me if the average park guest doesn't even know Galaxy's Edge is being built at both Disneyland and WDW. I'd wager most think it's only WDW.

I'd bet a lot of guests have no idea GE is being built at all. Tons of people pay no attention to the parks until they are actually there.

Huh, I just learned something. I always for some reason thought the leading edge of the last row of buildings would be a lot further back than it is. There is also that new q shaped building that looks to be guest accessible connecting. That wasn't so clear as the model cuts off around there.

What is interesting about this is that there is actually way more space there than I thought. I don't see why a third attraction of a smaller scale wouldn't be feasible now if they incorporate the temp warehouse down the line.

Here's a decent photo of that area from the Slashfilm:

I think the more open area in front of the Tie fighter is where the rumored stunt show will be viewed from. Also, I think there was a rumor of a Jedi Academy type show there, which could be your "q" shaped building.

Also I think Britain is correct- that is not the Falcon, but the top of the Bronze dome for the Cantina. Compare it to the other domes and you can see that one is missing the spider-web like top and the size matches perfectly. Blog Mickey also seems to have confused a crane for the shuttle craft (but I appreciate them getting these images off of Nearmap all the same.)

Not sure if it's been posted, but on Apple Maps there's now updated 3D imagery of Disneyland that includes star wars land construction. Granted it's about a year old from when the photos were taken, but really cool to get some more idea of how everything relates.
