Starting on Oct. 21, to make your trip planning easier and give you more flexibility, Oga’s Cantina (as well as Savi’s Workshop and Droid Depot) will begin offering advance reservations up to 60 days in advance, following the 60-day reservation process currently offered for restaurants and experiences requiring reservations throughout the Disneyland Resort. Each of these experiences makes for an unforgettable visit to the planet of Batuu. Whether you’re making your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, building your very own custom astromech droid unit at Droid Depot, or sipping on a delicious concoction with DJ R-3X at Oga’s Cantina, you’re sure to have blast. These popular experiences book up quickly, so be sure to check out the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland app to make your reservations today!

So I have not heard how tough it is recently to get a Savi's reservation, I know back during reservations and at launch it was tough to get a reservation cause it would fill up at park opening, is it still like this? I am hoping this doesn't make it even worse, I don't want to have to make my reservation 60 days in advance, that's one of the things I hated about my trip to Disney World, I did not like having to schedule out my trip months in advance to get fastpasses and dinner reservations, I much prefer Disneyland where you get your reservations the day of. I haven't visited Galaxy's Edge yet but want to build a lightsaber (er- scrap metal [forgive me for using their lingo]) when I go but I am worried I am going to have to plan it out two months in advance which like I said is silly to me I hate planning that far ahead. I am okay with making my reservation the morning of the day but what if on my trip we wanted to go to DCA that day when we get there. Sorry my rant is over I just needed to complain I don't want Disneyland to go the way of Disney World where you can't just go to the parks and have a spontaneous day, I hate having to make a schedule in advance and having to follow it while I'm there.

Only if there's a line. And there really hasn't been one. Maybe if you were going on a peak day shortly after RotR opened you'd need a droid rezzie.
So if there is a line i can't just wait in it on that peak day and wait my turn or if i dont have a reservation will i be turned away like I would be at Savi's or Oga's?

Don't quote me on this because it doesn't look like it specified but it sounds like if you don't have a reservation on a day that has every reservation booked then you won't be let in, at least that's my interpretation of it. I hope I am incorrect because I think it is garbage that they are potentially going to make it more difficult to get into the only "experience" in the land that isn't a ride in a land full of things where you need to get your reservation at rope drop or not be allowed in. I get they are trying to make it "more convenient" for people but Galaxy's Edge is literally the most complicated land for no reason, you can't just walk in and wait in line to experience things you have to make reservations first thing in the morning and then make sure you are able to return to the land at your reservation time, and in the case of Savi's if you don't then you don't even get a refund or even a partial refund they just take your $200 and tell you to try again next time.

It'll be like a restaurant rezzie. If the reservations are full, walk-ups will be told there may be anywhere from a 30 minute to never gonna happen wait. All depends on how full the reservations are and how many attempt to walk-up.

chocolate popcorn with Crait Red Salt (this salt comes from Crait, the now-uninhabited red mineral world dusted by a layer of white salt which reflects the planet’s sunlight. Once a Rebel Alliance outpost, the planet has now become a safe haven for the fleeing Resistance forces).

Ah ok. Gotcha. Makes more sense now
Does anyone know if the droid depot gets that busy it requires a reservation?? I know Oga's and Savi's do but I have never heard of anyone in any of these threads say they waited over a hour to build a drooud.

These food items in no way resembles Star Wars. It's like they aren't even trying. The question is what is Star Wars food. Okay, maybe it has to do with what the Jedi or Sith might like as opposed to the inhabitants at Batuu. Or what the Rebels and First Order eat. They need a description to add credibility that these food items are in Star Wars Rise of Resistance. The food is a fusion of different ethnic cuisine. It looks so unappetizing that I will just go outside and eat a hamburger.

Why not just add food and merchandise into the movies since they such a hot commodity at Galaxy's Edge? They already started to sell the reverse Pixar lamplight droid. Looks like a lamp shade on top of a cylindrical wheel.

New Bites and 60-Day Advanced Reservations Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort
by Alex Dunlap, Food & Beverage Communications Coordinator

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort is about to get a whole lot tastier this week! We’ve got an intergalactic shipment of several new menu items flying into the Black Spire Outpost this week, and you won’t want to miss them. But first, I have some exciting news regarding our bookable Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge experiences.

Now, on to the FOOD! There are five new items located throughout the land that you just have to try, all available starting on Oct. 16. Here are all the juicy details:
Happabore Sampler from Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland Park

At Oga’s Cantina, a new charcuterie plate will join the menu: the Happabore Sampler featuring a selection of cured meats, artisan cheeses, pickled and preserved rations, and crackers. It’s the perfect shareable bite to munch on while you sip on the many delicious concoctions Oga has to offer.
Kid’s Garden Patty Bun from Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo at Disneyland Park

If you’re picking up a shipment at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, you’ll definitely want to try the new Garden Patty Bun! This new kid’s meal features a bao bun, roasted carrots, house sauce, and an orange.
Ronto-less Garden Wrap and Kyryll Pork Rinds from Ronto Roasters at Disneyland Park

Speaking of plant-based, there’s a new Ronto-less Garden Wrap coming to Ronto Roasters featuring plant-based sausage, spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber, and Gochujang spread all wrapped in pita. Also being added to the Ronto Roaster menu is Kyryll Pork Rinds with cinnamon-sugar served in a MSE-6 Series Repair Droid souvenir vessel.
Chocolate Popcorn from Kat Saka’s Kettle at Disneyland Park

Finally, right next door at Kat Saka’s Kettle, you’ll soon be able to snack on chocolate popcorn with Crait Red Salt (this salt comes from Crait, the now-uninhabited red mineral world dusted by a layer of white salt which reflects the planet’s sunlight. Once a Rebel Alliance outpost, the planet has now become a safe haven for the fleeing Resistance forces).

All five of these new items are exclusive to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and will be available beginning Oct. 16. And don’t forget, you can skip the line and order in advance with mobile ordering on the Disneyland app.* Mobile ordering is available for Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, Ronto Roasters, and the Milk Stand.

To learn more about all of the food and beverage offerings throughout the Black Spire Outpost, check out our Foodie Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Disneyland Resort website, or the Disneyland app. Happy snacking, travelers!
I wish they'd add some more sausage options. Those wraps are the only food there that look appealing.

its the only food item in the land that I’ve tried so far that was worth a second try. Also had the roast, noodle salad, and ribs. Roast At Plaza inn is much better. Noodle salad was actually surprisingly ...good. But then again I don’t usually order cold noodle salads when I go out to eat. Ribs were meh.

Ronto wraps are good but at $13 each not the best value.

Oh ya I almost forgot the blue milk, green milk and popcorn are all terrible. Particularly the stale fruit loops tasting popcorn as I expected the milks to be terrible.
