You didn't need to be Nostradamus to have predicted this from the day that first cringefest ad was released, if not well before then when the underwhelming details started to emerge.
Explain to me how that’s NOT a crosshatch on the venn diagram? No, I mean people like the members of this forum who've been and told us they really enjoyed it.
Cancelling doesn't punish anyone (except me) as they have my payment at this point. Whole family is pretty excited to give it a try...especially now that it is going away. Looking forward to it.Just cancel, dude.
I’m the same demographic and I wouldn’t touch it. The kings of “theme” can’t screw up an IP more. That needed to be punished and lo and behold…it has.
I’m proud of the customers…which is what I beg for but is rare
The film with Rey in that was announced is just one movie out of three that are in the works, not another trilogy. All are standalone. And the worst part is they never learn. With continuous weak sales regarding the sequel trilogy toys and now this, it’s obvious that Igers obsession with the sequel trilogy doesn’t result in good sales in regards to products.
And yet, there’s a new “Rey” trilogy upcoming too. Just in case you forgot about how “great” these sequel trilogy characters are, here’s more!
Why should he? He’s excited to go. Why put a damper on it just because it doesn’t appeal to you?Just cancel, dude.
Luckily I’m an insider and WDI is repurposing the space now…exclusive look:Office/storage space?
So then they didn’t understand the formula of the franchise? The film with Rey in that was announced is just one movie out of three that are in the works, not another trilogy. All are standalone.
And did so with Kathleen Kennedy when she handed JJ the keys to the kingdom. Lucas was apparently very hurt and offended at thatGeorge Lucas handed Disney a detailed 60 page outline for an entire trilogy of films that also had mechanisms in place for various spin-offs. Iger chose to throw it into the garbage.
This has nothing to do with your earlier claim, which was that anyone saying they enjoyed the experience was lying to themselves. You seem to have a very hard time accepting that others may not share your thinking on a given topic.Explain to me how that’s NOT a crosshatch on the venn diagram?
…right…it’s a “me” thing, is it?Why should he? He’s excited to go. Why put a damper on it just because it doesn’t appeal to you?
Me thing, huh? This has nothing to do with your earlier claim, which was that anyone saying they enjoyed the experience was lying to themselves. You seem to have a very hard time accepting that others may not share your thinking on a given topic.
I have no idea what you’re talking about, but I’ve said all I can to you on this.Me thing, huh?
Sad thing is.. I bet harmonious cost moreThis is a pretty embarrassing failure. Maybe one of the biggest in the company’s history?
I don’t begrudge anyone for being excited about this. I hope those who go enjoy it.If someone wants to go and will enjoy it, that is a wonderful thing...A lot of people worked very hard on making it work...
I am sad for them that it was not successful... but that was sort of pre-determined by the direction management took...
At least shows they have a firm grasp of sunk costs!
Casino? I hear those are pretty good at making money.Yes it isn't remotely setup to be a standalone hotel. Could it be modified? Not sure, but it may well end up being demolished or abandoned for someone to do something with in the future.
