I'm not sure why the need to gatekeep the term LARP.

For most of Disney's general audience, that's a new term (and a foreign concept) that might help them at least begin to understand what the Starcruiser is/isn't.

And just think how many wealthy Disney Parks guests could have this as their entry into other role-playing games and experiences.
Its not gate keeping... a live action role playing adventure ( AKA LARP ) would have things you do impact your experience. In Disney's Prison Ship Adventure, you are just moved to different rooms to wave at various walls in small groups during certain times.

The reality is those willing to pay for this beyond 4/1/22 don’t really care about the distinction.

This is to Satisfy the kids…not a panel discussion at Geekcon, Phoenix

For those of you who care, the dark 'Launching 2022' shadow has been lifted on the map.

Have you not seen the clips where the First Order baddie tries to get guests to sabotage the efforts of the rebel spy? When a guest accepts a little mission from a spy, a bad guy follows up with an attempt to make them a "double agent."

Seems to me these choices have potential to impact the experience.
