Star Tours, Princesses, Mermaid, DC gate, Pop Century, and more... Oh My!

Sounds good, still hoping for some water outside.

Please no on Snow White and BatB. There are so many other movies that would make great FL additions. Hercules, Pinocchio(which really isn't represented in WDW at all), etc.

Actually Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland is where its represented, but I agree a ride would be way better.

Eh, I don't really count that as representation. I know it's being nit picky, but other than the name and a few paintings inside, nothing about seems Pinocchio-ish about it.

Thanks for the info!! :) I hope everything said there comes true.
Where would the Fantasyland expansion go?
And I thought Honey I Shrunk the Kids was going to be a Bug's Life theme (I read that info in previous threads).

Not quite.
The full FL redo that has been proposed includes more rides than TLM.
What they are, and if they will be included in the final plan is unknown. However, as I said earlier, the full FL redo would be a huge, several hundred million dollar project. I expect to see TLM added by itself before anything else happens. I just don't see them spending that much all at once.

Sounds like a good start anyway. Heres hoping TLM will be a new crown jewel in disney classic rides like haunted mansion, small world, etc.

Fine, let the kids kids enjoy their little grotto. It's not like a GIANT REAL LAGOON with STEAMPUNK SUBMARINES and GIANT FREAKIN' SQUIDS would be cooler, OH WAIT- IT WAS.

Bitter? Oh, a tad.

:lookaroun

Not to mention the grotto was an extension of the rock work for said awesome attraction and there was the King Triton statue/fountain thing too. Now her place just looks random next to the muddy hillside.

Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins....

...The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad....

Ya, there are better choices out there.

A guy can wish, can't he. After seeing how great Pixie Hollow looks at DLR, and how AMAZING the nighttime additions look, Phil and TDO should be ashamed they took the easy way out and put them in Toontown.

Excuse me, but if you were to look at the other properties around the world and even at WDW there is hardly any representation of BatB compared to TLM, TLK, or Aladdin... DLP: Nothing; TDL: Nothing; DLR: Beast's Library, Fantasmic; WDW: BatB Live on stage, small meet and greet which is shared with Sleeping Beauty, Fantasmic; HKDL: Nothing. Batb deserves more respect then it gets.

I'm just talking about WDW. It's got an attraction. Give one of the other(better IMO) movies a shot. Hercules is THE most underused classic animation property they have, and lends itself to an attraction so perfectly.

what about a classic like 101 Dalmations ride? rather than something that is already represented at the parks in some form

If it was anything but a carousel I would see your point. But if you sit in that circular area I think you would agree, there is a very good chance that is what it was always intended for. The BGM would work perfectly with the attraction. So you would not lose that, only add life to a rather lifeless area.

Right now it's a giant smoking area. Peaceful? If you can call a bunch of hacking and ash tray smells "peaceful", then I see your point. :lookaroun
Oh, you mean by the side? Heh! I was thinking smack dab in front of AA.:dazzle::lol:

I'm fairly certain the Star Tours information is pretty good based on conversations I've had in the past with people who would know.
.
If so...It's awesome.
Steven Spielberg is currently inventing a form of 3D that doesn't require glasses. That would revolutionize the industry vastly.
How would that be done? One big 3D screen? That would be much more convenient.

So we'll only have six lands instead of seven? I can't picture that for some reason... :veryconfu
It opened like that!:animwink:

Right. I was thinking it(FL refurb) would be in stages, with TLM the first.

Star Tours 2 has the potential to be the best attraction at DHS, and it will never get old. Hopefully, Mission Space and Soarin' will receive this sort of upgrade in the future. Random, unique ride experiences are the future!

AGREED!!! we've heard about it for so long lets get on with it... but lets not rush it either. After the amount of time it's been since the last E-ticket they need to blow this one out of the water!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

Agreed in full! Make it different every time and you have an amazing ride. With today's technology it's even easier to upgrade.
