I'm feeling...

Rangers > Senators (I predict a loss in the next round)
Boston >r Washington (I love my Caps [2nd favorite team] but Boston looks brutal this season)
NJ > Florida
Pitt > Philly

Annd...

Vancouver > LA
St. Louis > San Jose
Chicago > Phoenix (will be a wipeout)
Nashville > Detroit

The second rounds are always much more interesting. :king:

I like your prediction of the Blues v. San Jose. How 'bout those Blues, huh? Kind of unexpected this year. :)

I think Pitt will win it all but the one team that I think they could have trouble with they are playing in the first round. I have to think that PGH firepower will be too much, especially with a hungry Crosby that is very fresh and vey hungry for hockey, having played only 22 games.

I agree - I'll probably pick Pitt each round they're still in it, although I'm rooting for the Caps.

A lot of it always comes down to who has a hot goalie, but there may not be a goalie alive who can shut down the Penguins' offense if Crosby, Malkin and all are healthy.

I really want the Caps to win but Boston and Pitt truly look like the big shows in the post season.

I hate the Rangers though, so I'll beat anything against them any day.

I don't mind the Rangers except for that whining, bottle-throwing crybaby they have behind the bench.

Obviously I am rooting for the Caps, I know its going to be a tough series though..

And Lucky is right, what it comes down to, in any series is health, and who remains in. ...

Either way I just want some good hockey.

The officials have helped some of these series get way out of hand. They hesitate to call penalties, on the theory that the players should decide the outcome of the game themselves on the ice. But that encourages more physical play, escalating to illegal hits, fights, and suspensions. And then the suspended players aren't on the ice to decide the outcome of the game. Not to defend the star players who let themselves get caught up in this and got suspended, but tighter officiating could have prevented a lot of this.
