MK Staggs says changes to Fantasyland...

This has been what I've been trying to say all throughout this thread but no one wants to hear that another place other than Disney is doing good.

I sense fear in the "I hate everything but Disney" fans. That's why they keep mentioning the FLE.

But be warned my friend. Your not allowed to enjoy both WDW and Uni on these boards. The "900 or more post" club won't like that and they are the experts here.

Oh, that's not true! Look at me! Well... you can't really LOOK at me, but you know. I love both of 'em!

Oh yes. The blind overt loyalty to an entity to believe it can do know wrong.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this news. I'm all for making the FLE appeal to everyone but I'm just a little curious about what that actually means. Another dark ride (or two) would be fantastic. Heck, almost anything besides a M&G would make me very happy.

Just no Toy Story Playland please. At least not in the MK.

Oh I'm sorry we've all been so foolish lets bow down to your great knowledge.
I enjoy Universal and Disney but I enjoy Disney more and that is how it is for me. I enjoy other theme parks but I still hold Disney to a level of excellence. Yes Uni has put out a good themed area but Potter is the only actual noticable addition they have added to IOA since it opened 11 years ago. And by the way this is like the 7th or 8th time you claimed there is injustice on these boards, face it kid not everyone agrees with what everyone says and no matter who you are and no matter what you are saying you are going to have people who don't agree with you.

YES THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!!!

-So when i heard the original news i was excited, but this is even better.
They've changed my least favorite part (dancing, making birthday cards?, and possibly another storytime with belle) and i hope its something much better because those kind of activities can be done in a clown show. However the theming was good.

And as far as a thrill ride goes, well im not sure what they could do but if it works it works :):):)

Who said there will be a thrill ride? I think you need to read the article again. Even Lee is not claiming there will be a thrill ride in the FLE.

Also, the m&g interactive component will still exist it seems. They have apparently just adjusted them to appeal to more guests. Somewhat in the vain of the WWoHP wand selection deal at least what little I know about it.

Go to the Star Tours thread you'll see the harassment for being a uni and disney fan. I don't have a problem with people disagreeing but people don't respect that I enjoy both theme parks, they think it's a problem.

I'm quite sure that is not why people have a problem with you. Your silly and purposely misleading signatures would be a better example.

When I asked Lee would we get a Huge E Ticket he said not huge. So there's hope in their somewhere.

Also my signature does not say yes there will be thrills it says I hope there will be thrills. There's a difference so I'm not misleading anybody.

Let's see. Something new geared towards boys. Placed in frontier land. HMMM.
I got. I got. INDIANA JONES!!!!
Maybe I'm off here but it meets the demographic and fits the space.
It would fit more in Adventureland. And there's already the show in DHS. It will most likely go there before MK. That's a good idea though

Or it could be the quite obvious TROLLING. Plenty of posters like both theme parks, I believe even Lee said he does. Few go around trying to make waves and concern trolling.

Ah yes, I know he is trolling. Just have not figured out why. Fortunately the mods have become quite skilled at dealing with these situations.

This is great news. While I'm for having any kind of meet-n-greets with the characters, having all those Princess meet-n-greets in one large area was rather a waste of valuable space. If they could somehow condense them and still keep them, idk. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm wondering if the concept art on those walls (except BaTB and the Little Mermaid) will be updated sometime in the near future?

I just hope that Toontown Fair would be surviving this whole thing, should Pixie Hollow be dead. I'm sure they could beef up that area somehow, and maybe expand it somewhat. What they should do for a Pixie Hollow is have something similar to Disneyland (saw YouTube videos of it, looks really cool) and just condense it down elsewhere. How about that path between Cinderella's Castle and Tomorrowland. Couldn't they put something similar there?

The princess area is not a waste of space because it takes space to create an immersive environment. They are following Joe Rhodes' examples at DAK. Now, a toontown in a european forest? Definitely a waste of space and a theming contradiction that makes my me want to :hurl:

This is definetly a step in the RIGHT direction. I hope it means we will get at least 1 more real ride out of this.

Keep in mind Disney is under increasing pressure to preform to guests as well as shareholders at a time when they are getting increasing competition from Universal Studios and the world is in a freefall recession. Stagnatting the parks and building DVC´s all over the place is simply not a sustainable business any longer. Guests demand real change and real attractions if they are to give their hard earned cash to the Walt Disney Company. So in this case Tom Staggs made a smart move.
