The descent really needs an interior decorator.

Hmm maybe they should give HGTV a call

I know, like trading spaces. They could get the Gran Fiesta Tour and SSE CMs to trade and see what they come up with. I am so much happier with the new SSE than I was with the Gran Fiesta Tour.

And still it goes on....

Just a quickie - a current tid bit - management are still evaluating negative comments about the descent. There are a lot of them, and are being taken seriously.
I don't know... take out the very small group of purists and fanboys --- yeah, they are LOUD --- and I doubt there's anything close to a consensus of people that don't like the attraction.

I would suggest that nobody get their hopes up for that one week. I predict there will be very minor changes only... and for good reason.

Very good point actually and I agree, I still like the SSE rehab way better than Gran Fiesta Tour, I wont get into as why in this thread but I think we would probably agree with the same reasons.

I'm not getting my hopes up too much though. Its only 6 days. How much could they really change in only 6 days.

maybe pull down some of the curtains on the right side and turn the future city back on? Ok I know thats a longshot but its not a bad thought.
I think they may do something with that dark hole of a space where the hanging sse model use to hang.

I remember hearing someone say that the future city is damaged beyond repair right now, so I doubt we'll see it. Whether or not thats true, I have no idea. :brick:

What about fangirls? :)

Yeah! I video-taped the last ride-through that I went on El Rio - but I talked during the ride (whoops) and I can't get that off the audio! Yep, anyone that knows me knows that I don't go long without talking! :ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

So I can for sure give an opinion about the descent of SSE but if I just bring a jacket to cover the touch screens, then it's not so bad...just has so many possibilities and that is what is killing us all.

If they don't change anything, its still a great ride.

But if they do respond to some of the criticism, regardless of how small of a group it is coming from, the attraction will be that much better than it already is, and everyone's happy.

I totally agree with you. I can't wait to see what they are able to add to the ride.

It isn`t that big a space, but on the subject take a look in my WDWPhoto album; those who recall Mission:SSE 180top will know there are quite a few flash photos there documenting the entire descent section showing exactly what was there and how big it was

- please remember no fellow guests were riding within flash range when the pics were taken....

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.

I really like the first 2/3rds of the ride. The only thing I disliked about the descent was the exposed (dusty/dirty/grimey) chicken wire, also where you could see parts of the structure itself, [and where you could see the exposed chain link fence.. to which the fiberoptic curtains are affixed to]. It was very tacky and dirty (I know.. I know.. its not officially opened yet). Hopefully these are the issues that will be addressed though. :)
