Jenny, I totally agree. I too read the article and felt that she didn't give the place a fair shake, and it appeared she only went to one of the parks. She might have liked something at one of the other ones better. But, as we know, Disney isn't for everyone. It's just a shame she didn't get it and then, it seems let the not getting it bleed out to her children.
When WHF and I were planning out our trip for this year, we considered a cruise, an all inclusive option, and various other things and yet, we kept coming back to Disney World b/c it ended up, economically being cheaper and we'd have more to do.
However, we decided on the Cali option instead b/c it was something different.
It reminds me of that one Universal Studios commercial I saw a long time ago, where this little snot around Abby's age was saying, 'If I see another princess, I think I'm going to puke' :hammer::hammer:
I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine, but it really bugs me when we can't, as a society, let imagination and stories that have happy endings, be held up as something GOOD. Instead it's mocked or dismissed.

BTW, Nibbs, interesting new look in the Bar-room thread. :lookaroun
