Sure you do. His is the more interesting and memorable version of the character in most viewers' heads. Plus it's not like he commands a huge salary or anything. It's not like they're bringing in Ian Mckellen or Michael Fassbender or anyone that costs real money.

AJT doesn’t mandate nearly the salary. Somebody tell me if I’m incorrect, but the more memorable version of the character is Peters’ version.

She mentions it to them and tells them it makes her sad. They obviously have powers. I know I am probably wrong and over analyzing but I also thought when they talk about no children being there and then remembered the Talent show and how many times they repeatedly said For the Children, it just seemed like they were purposely trying to put the children in our minds.

I interpreted those moments differently! The other time in Ep. 5 they talk about children is when Vision points out there are no other children in Westview beyond Tommy and Billy. Coupling this with when Vision freed Norm/Abi from the sitcom set-up, it sounds to me that Agnes is actually commenting on how she can control adults' minds, but not children's.
