It's a longer episode! I'll take that as a win.
Also, oh my goodness. What an episode. They're playing fast and loose with everything now and I love it.
So many good details in this episode. I think this episode confirms the "previously on WandaVision" section is part of Wanda's reality (see: "She's gone. She doesn't belong here." vs. "Oh? She left. Had to run home.").
The whole Norm scene is great in its vagueness. If Wanda's not inside their heads, who is?
Wanda leaving Westview was fantastic. Hayward is a baddie for sure, especially with the way Wanda trained the agents on him. Also the hexagons? The only time we've seen that in the real world outside of the Hex is in Hayward's office with his diplomas.
I still can't figure out Agnes beyond the fact that she's probably Agatha. Also, who is Dottie?
Recasting her brother? Iconic.
Hm I wonder who it could be... /s
Is Vision alive ?how is Vision alive?
Well, according to all reports, when DisneySo, not doing a bunch of spoiler tags in a spoiler thread, sorry in advance if people get mad.
But, wow. SO.... I think a few things came out of this for me. One is the idea that Wanda is completely warping things for real. In that she's not just distorting things in the mind, she is physically changing things. To me, that means the kids are here for good. I think it may also mean the new Quicksilver is here, which could be the first inclination of the X-Men to the MCU.
Speaking of that, my 8 year old daughter came up with the craziest thing to me. She read that bit about how Olsen mentioned a big surprise like Luke. Her exact thought was "I bet the are bringing in Magneto as her Dad at the end. Or maybe Wolverine." I just kind of sat there for a second in awe. What she said would make perfect sense if this is the step to adding the X-Men from the multiverse.
who is Jimmy Woo’s witness?
I'm really hoping that Even Peters is not in any way the Fox X-Men Quicksilver. I think using him for Pietro is awesome especially with Darcy's comment about "recasting" but I would like for it to be a wink at the audience and meta, not an actual bringing in someone from another multiverse. The Fox X-men movies were mostly lame and a terrible representation of that group and its proper dynamics and I really hope that they don't pollute the MCU which has been so well done. I'd like to think that Feige is smart enough to let the Fox X-men die and stay forever gone, because the X-Men would really benefit from a proper reboot free of the entanglements of previous films. Would really love to see a proper Cyclops, Storm, etc and not have it be just the "Wolverine and some other random people" show
It would actually be cool if the X-Men movies existed as movies in the MCU and this was just Wanda using a character of a speedster as a template for her brother. That I could get behind, as long as those movies as still "fake" in the MCU.
To be honest, I think the whole idea of multiverses and merging different film properties is quite stupid and the news about Spider-Man has me nervous.
My guess is Wanda was able to bring him in from another reality. Im not sure she recognized him at first. My guess is this link with an alternate reality is what brings the Xmen in.I just don’t see the MCU taking a well known actor from what is technically a Marvel property... now owned by Disney again after purchasing Fox, and reusing that actor as a new character.
It has to be them bringing the X-Men in some form to the MCU.
That or they play it off like in this universe he isn’t an X-Men... but I just feel like they’d hire a new actor if that was the case.
