Wonder what the Vegas odds are on this sticking with that timeline
I think they will do their best. I would imagine most of the scenery pieces have been pre-fabricated already, seems like they have a working version of the attraction audio? Maybe they waited so long to close it to get more work done on the back end? We’ll soon(ish) find out.

This is going to be like Harmonious. Too big to fail until it does.
It’s not going to “fail”. They’re going to end up with a super-popular log flume ride just as before, no matter what.

No one’s going to say, “No singing bunny? No bear butts? I’m never going to ride this excellent log flume ever, ever again!”

Ten years from now, there will be a new generation that’s grown up with and grown to love the new version of Splash.

The only way they could make this fail would be to put trim brakes all the way down the big drop.

You're dramatically underestimating their ability to make this suck.

I personally wouldn’t read too much into this but to each their own
Did you watch the video outlining the titles of the people in that boat? This ride isn't being designed by artists, it's being designed by HR executives.

Oh, heck no. I’m just saying they could fill the ride with giant styrofoam Hello Kitties and people would still ride it. And it’s going to be better than styrofoam Hello Kitties.
Could be. I'm reserving judgement. An excellently-done Tiana Splash should be better than Br'er Splash. But I started losing hope around the time we first heard the words "salt mine."

Yeah but there’s been guest pushback to high profile crap attractions. Given what a high profile E-Ticket this is, it’s very possible.

From the same people who wrecked Epcot and totally screwed up two nighttime shows in less than 2 years, nothing is impossible.
I'm on team "Happily Ever After also sucked" so I'm not particularly the audience for this comment, but your point is taken.

Their homeruns, IMO, have been ride systems, not storytelling. Cosmic Rewind, dope ride system. Rise of the Resistance, dope ride system with a dope transport system in the queue/pre-show. This one, the ride system is being handed to them so the question is strictly whether they still know how to tell a story.

And in Guardians someone else did the vehicles and ride system.

Or it’s just going to be a mediocre replacement like Harmonious was for ROE. And we all know what’s happening with Harmonious.
I hate to break it to you, but they’re never going to remove the Tiana overlay and rebuild the original Brer Rabbit interior. They’re not going to remove the Tiana overlay, period, no matter what a few grumbly fans think. This isn’t giant taco barges turning World Showcase Lagoon into an eyesore.

In many ways, Frozen Ever After is a huge fail. And really, really popular. It’s here to stay, and so is Tiana. And we won’t know until it opens how good Tiana’s Adventure will turn out.
