Going to miss the whole atmosphere of that area, the variations of Zipadeedoodah that play around the area and everything that comes along with it. Some things need, change and some love but to completely change the entire feel to a place that’s well loved is plain stupid, that goes for the entire park.

I'm not sure putting a big tree and boat on top of Splash was ever a good idea -- feels like it would really tower over everything else if you added that much additional height -- but it was a more interesting idea than a water tower with a crown. They could have just put it where the tower is apparently going to alleviate some of the height concerns.
The whole salt mine thing feels like a solution in search of a problem (the "problem" being Louisiana is flat, but I don't think that really matters in the context of a fantasy theme park ride).

Definitely disappointing when the end result seems less than the concept art - hard to not feel budget came in to play as well
Will say what has been shown for the ride at night time with the twinkling lights looks lovely

It's like when they remake one of their movies and a song that you were really looking forward to is either substantially altered to not really be the same as it was before (like the spoken word version of "Be Prepared" in Lion King) or substantially truncated (like "When You Wish Upon A Star" in Pinocchio)... but hey, at least they added new songs (that generally doesn't seem to fit in with the general tone of all of the other songs in the movie)... Again, like Lion King and Pinocchio...

Well said and its a shame. I truly wish they would do this in Cali 1st and then realize it needs to stay put in Florida show it some love and build a brand new attraction for PatF instead …. But i have a feeling there are certain political reasons they want to do Florida no matter what
