Very relieved to learn courtesy of some WDI comms intern that Tiana “[built] a beloved brand that bolstered neighboring communities.” No surprise that modern Disney treats successful branding like it’s the most magical thing in the world. Now that the racism question has been settled, can we please get a head start on protesting the new ride as capitalist propaganda?

Yeah! Frontierland in the MK already has a giant water tower. And just like they did in frontier time, they put a giant windmill on top of its pitched roof!! Boy, that forced perspective is amazing!!!

That one in your image is not intended to be a giant water tower for a town or factory facility, even if you argue the scale as not perfect; bad argument when comparing one to change the focus of the focal point designed splash mountain. Also, as a plus it does not have a neon sign on it to throw it off.

And isn't it the scoop that MK's Tiana's *won't* have a water tower?
I believe that's a windmill-powered water well, not a water tower

She certainly shares Walt Disney's penchant for putting his name on everything: Tiana's Palace, Tiana's Foods (what a name!), and, I'm sure, Tiana's Salt Mine.
It's like taking something problematic and turning it into something wholesome!
...
Wait a second, wasn't there a ride that did this? In 1989? And in 1992?

I believe at this point you're ardently coping because of how bad this looks...
But I can never tell with you 🤔

It's the extra details and fluff that contribute to the dissonance.

"Tiana is committed to serving the best food in Louisiana to her guests, so she started her own food company ensuring only the finest ingredients are used in her restaurants" is a much tighter and stronger line than she cares about the "community neighbors" and "Co-op" those are modern marketing ploys shoe horned into 1920s

Less is more, show don't tell.

"You get to be a part of the rest of Tiana's story-"

"So we meet the characters we loved from the movie?"

"No, some new friends."

"Well, we get to hear some of those great songs-"

"You'll be happy to learn we have all new songs just for this attraction!"

"We at least get to go into her magnificent new restaurant-"

"Even better - you get to tour the salt mines and her factory co-op concept where she makes the spices she adds to her food!"

It's almost like you can easily tell what group they are marketing too! (which I'm a part of, but this is just lazy)

Honestly it looks cool I guess but there's a difference between concept and actual application. Not a fan of the water tower.

I guess the boat idea was scrapped?

Are people who've seen the movie, PatF, really surprised that Tiana is a successful businesswoman? Imagineering didn't make it up just for the ride.
She's supposed to be Gusteau, not Skinner.
