Or a Villains dark ride.

I’m still salty over losing SWSA.

I still think my Tom Sawyer Island -> Ile D’Orleans plan would be a great addition to Magic Kingdom.

Brand new land, plenty of space to build a Louisiana Bayou walk-thru, a PATF ride, Tiana’s Palace restaurant, and plenty of street food stalls/counter service.
Villains ride will go in Mansion. Trust me.

Higher res versions of those images are here (presumably the source)-

You can easily tell they're fake in the higher res versions. Amusingly there's a mixture of elements that wouldn't be bad ideas in an original non-overlay Tangled ride, but there's also lazy empty cheapness that reminds me of official Disney concept art (like Frozen at Epcot).

A couple of the individual scenes actually do look like what i'd want out of a Tangled ride (if it was a new ride, not an overlay of another attraction). The Snuggly Ducking musical scene (though i'm sure they'd never put this many animatronics in an attraction these days), a trip through the colorful sun festival village (though without the jumping fountains and with characters), and even both scenes where Flynn Rider is running from the guards and Maximus.

That said, the rest of the images mostly look like the sort of laziness i'd expect out of a modern Disney overlay like Frozenstrom. Copy/pasted insertions of random characters into random scenes. Multiple empty looking rooms and lift hills with flat wallpapered walls and just Rapunzel's hair draped over some wooden beams.

Maybe it’s time to dust off the plans for Villain Mt. and put it in Germany at Epcot, and just say it’s close enough because Grimm Fairy Tales. ;):D

For the Germany Pavilion, I’d rather have an original ride based on the tale of Saint George and the Dragon.

That’s funny, because the same thing happened to me the day after they announced the news about splash. In the dream, Tarzan‘s Treehouse was also being rethemed to Mama odie’s treehouse.
It was only in DL though, in my dream World's was remaining the same.

I think Tiana's Mountain is going to be a great attraction, but it just doesn't fit Frontierland. I'm still hoping they will put it on Tom Sawyer Island. This way it can be a part of a whole new section. Perhaps Aunt Polly's could actually be used all year as well, rather than just seasonal.
The easy solution is to rename the land to "Frontier-like-land."

That'd work great for WDW... and replacing the Aladdin Spinner with a PatF ride.

Back when this all started I had a dream where Splash Mountain would have it's main characters swapped for possum AAs with the Lester's Possum park show from A Goofy movie being used in the ride queue.

I was actually watching that movie last night. Still holds up great

It will be a success for 5-10 years as most new rides are. But then the PaTF fans will be disappointed and realize they should’ve got something better. The Splash fans will call it crap. Disney fans will complain for the better half of the 2040 decade asking for something better until they replace it with some flavour of the month Disney Film. The cycle begins anew!

It doesn't fit Frontierland but sadly I don't think people care anymore. Just like I don't think (nor will anyone ever convince me) Pandora fits the theme of Animal Kingdom. But put a good attraction in there and the masses will flock.

View attachment 488834Found this on Instagram[obviously fan made]. Am I the only one who feels if they remove the aspect of plunging down into something [Briar Patch, Bayou, ect...] the final drop looks really off?
No offence to the person that made this, but holy does that look ugly. Talk about a complete eyesore.

Hopefully it doesn’t look that bad.
