It's not "gas station food" ... It's a good market that also sells gas.

Did you miss the part where we said they were a dairy?

I did read that, and I've only gassed up at a Wawa on a trip and not gone inside, so I admit I don't know anything about their food except what's been posted here. Where I live, though, you're living on the edge if you eat a meal at the same place as you gas up you car!

If you look at it on google maps there is plenty of space behind France for another show building. The question is would they have 2 attractions? It can't cost a whole lot to operate the movie so they might keep it.
Sure, they could put the new show building alongside the waterway, and have a walkway/plaza that continues alongside the canal for the entry area. No reason why IDF has to go -- I'd certainly prefer that it stays (perhaps with an updated shot here and there, a little more of 2014 Paris than 1983 Paris).

We ran into a problem with the bands this morning. Major problems. Wasted the whole morning and afternoon over technical issues. Still not resolved. Still at resort.
Not surprised. Expect to hear them tell you "it is a known issue". Do not have patience with them.

Why is the dairy operation so relevant to their current gas station and convenient store operations?

The convenience stores started as an outlet to sell the dairy products in the 1960s when the milk man stopped delivering milk to your house. From the 1960s through the late 1990s Wawa grew their food offerings with the hoagies becoming pretty popular especially at lunch time. I think Sheetz may have technically had the touch screens first, but Wawa perfected it. In the late 1990s Wawa experimented with the concept of a "super Wawa" which was a larger convenience store with all the regular offerings plus gas pumps. About half of the current Wawa locations do not have gas pumps at all. I think that's where some native Philadelphia area folks have a hard time equating Wawa to gas station food. To me it's still a deli/convenience store that sells gas at a few locations.

I know the history, but that doesn't explain why @PhotoDave219 keeps droning on about the dairy business in relation to their present day store operations. Owning a dairy isn't what makes their food good.

The dairy is an afterthought these days although they still sell their milk at least locally. In my mind the gas stations are an afterthought too. People go for the food not to buy milk or gas. This may not be the case in Florida where their is no history and people just see Wawa as a gas station that sells food.

When people start quoting what year a gas station opened and the family history of the business I have to seriously question if it's just shenanigans and they used Google to make it appear they were informed on the subject. If they are actually that well versed on the history of wawa, we'll then, kudos to you.
