Ok so lesson learned. No reading five pages of subs and hoagie talk before 8 am. I'm hungry now!
Coconut bonbons.

You can thank me later.

I'll see your bonbons and raise you Lacey "cookies". Essentially all sugar, they're melted caramel and nuts with delicious chocolate goodness holding two caramlized...drops together. No need to thank me, just bring a few back to share with the class :)

thats now on my shopping list

that cookie peanut butter is sublime

That stuff is addicting. Their peanut butters are all very good.

Currently, I'm hooked on their low fat guacamole. I've been known to eat it with a spoon and I have no shame. Try it!

Tony Luke's is Second to Jim's on South Street. South and 4th.

But yes, Always skip Pats & Genos

With one exception. If you find yourself there between the hours of 1am-7am and drunk. I prefer Pats over Genos, cheese wit and hot sauce from a container that has the crustiest wooden spoon you have ever seen. The last time it was replaced was when the flyers won their second stanley cup. I'm not even exagerrating, it's pretty foul. But we're the same people who eat scrapple, which is the leftover scrap from pigs they can't in good conscience put into hot dogs.

I haven't been to Trader Joe's in like six or seven years, but I remember it being more of a "fun" grocery store instead of a place you do all of your shopping every week. We have one locally now that I've been meaning to get to for cookie butter and giant chocolate bars. Wegmans is the pinnacle of what a "regular" grocery store should be. Their private label stuff is great, too. Mac & cheese ravioli!

Are you talking about The Silo by any chance? That was a fun place with a great sandwich.

You bet your boots I was! The haystack is an incredible sandwich, thank god I live far enough that I don't have one every day.

I'm from Pittsburgh...we got some pretty serious sandwiches here.

If you've ever eaten here and seen the local population, you'd understand. We...tend to live large around here. Mainly, around the middle.

That being said, sheetz has decent sammies but I've never had wawa before. Or earl of sandwich.

Earl is great, my brother lives in Pittsburgh and I've been to a few places there. It seems they have a habit of sides as condiments. In one weekend I had several sandwiches at all different places topped with Mac and cheese, perogies, and of course french fries and Cole slaw. My friend had the fried egg on his..

Some of it worked some didnt. :)

I did read that, and I've only gassed up at a Wawa on a trip and not gone inside, so I admit I don't know anything about their food except what's been posted here. Where I live, though, you're living on the edge if you eat a meal at the same place as you gas up you car!

Next time do yourself a favor and grab a hogie. In Florida:

Publix > Wawa > Earl > bunch of other places > WDW quick-serve > Subway

It is known.

When people start quoting what year a gas station opened and the family history of the business I have to seriously question if it's just shenanigans and they used Google to make it appear they were informed on the subject. If they are actually that well versed on the history of wawa, we'll then, kudos to you.

It's Wawa. @PhotoDave219 really is that well-versed. He's from Philly, it's a thing with them up there.

Between the Westin convention center hotel and the Omni William Penn, there are like 4 sandwich and deli shops. I remember making a run once to each one to see how they were.

how do you feel about Philly Connection? They make a mean cheesesteak sandwich.
The absolute worse Philly Cheesesteak I ever had was at the POP Century Food Court a few years ago. I swear my sandwich was literally floating in a puddle of grease that had dripped off it and onto the plate. You didn't even have to swallow it, just push it in your mouth and it would slide right down. It is the first Cheesesteak ever, that I didn't, couldn't finish. All I could taste was the grease.

The FROZEN frenzy continues ... looks like Once Upon a Time briefly showed Elsa in their season finale.

My general rule is if they call it a "Philly Cheesesteak" stay away. I've only had 1 good cheesesteak in FL at a place in Marco Island called Guy and Lisa's. both Guy and Lisa were from Philly. When I saw they had the roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe on the menu I knew I was in the right place.

Thats pretty cool. I think it would be awesome if they let other non-human characters get into the mix as well, like Wreck-it Ralph or Lightning Mcqueen. It would be cool to see how they would do it. It would def make the show more interesting.
I dont see that ever happening. The show is based on fairy tales and legends, not just fictional characters (Wreck-it ralph and McQueen). Most people dont realize that Frozen is very loosely based on "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Anderson, and she's evil.
