Sorry, I'm from IL, what the hell is a Wawa??? LOL
I hear they are similar to sheetz, a east PA staple.
Gas stain / convenience stores with lots and I mean lots of food and drink options that you order from touch screens throughout the store. Tons of coffee choices as well. I have never been to a wawa that's what I asked Dave about them but i love sheetz.

Wawa is killing it down here, are all Wawas about the same size are there some larger footprints.
There are different sizes. The old school Wawas were much smaller, similar in size to a 7 eleven. As the food offerings increased and they started opening Wawa with gas they got much bigger. I'm assuming the southern Wawas are newer so they are mostly the larger variety with gas stations.

With the recently earnings report on DLP, they desperately need a boost in attendance.
I wish someone could tell me how having something at DLP and not at WDW is going to boost attendance at DLP in any way shape or form. Do you think that I, or most anyone, would go there because there is a Rat ride? Seriously? People that live in the area might go, but, they would go anyway. If someone happens to plan a trip to Paris, they might decide to go to DLP, but not just because of that one attraction.

Similar to Sheetz. I think WAwa has more offerings now, but they are still similar. I'm biased towards Wawa sandwiches, but it's pretty close. It's hard to beat Wawa coffee and the breakfast sizzli.

Lots of European visitors to WDW. As someone stated earlier the weather and exchange rates are probably the biggest advantages for WDW. It's not about getting Americans to visit DLP, but to get British and other European guests to go choose Paris instead. I doubt that 1 ride is going to sway a lot of people either way, but Who knows.

Sure, but even if it was in WDW as a clone, the likelihood of it being exactly the same is pretty small. I don't think it would make an iota of difference. They either want to go to DLP or they don't.

Here's what the old school Wawa stores looked like. There are still many like this in PA and NJ.

The newer, larger version looks like this:

Who'd a thunk sandwiches from a gas station would be better than Disney dining
Wawa stores have been around since the 1960s but it wasn't until the 1990s that they started building "Super Wawas" that sell gas. To your point, the food is much better than most Disney counter service locations. The coffee is better than anything on property including Starbucks (other than the real Kona coffee at the Poly).

Disney expected Disneyland Paris to attract a lot more British tourists than it ever has and that is a segment that visits Walt Disney World in sizable numbers.

They're pretty large, 20 to 30 pumps, 5 to 10 order stations. If they were to take over the Magic Kingdom location I could see them needing at least 30 pumps and a larger building.

I will agree that it's not hard to beat the electric umbrella for most food but sunshine seasons or tangrine cafe? I'm taking those every day.

Agreed. I was comparing the hoagies to any sandwich at a counter service in a park at WDW. I give you the turkey sandwich at Cosmic Rays as proof. I'm not including the Earl or other specialty shops outside the parks.
