Spirit, I have always wondered if a Villians Land was ever a real concept or just fan boy wishful thinking??? What are your thought on such a land?
Since you brought up Man of Steel I should warn you it's currently sitting at a 69% approval rating on RT, 54% for "Top Critics". I'm thinking this may not be the big creative hit that Superman fans have wanted (Imagine, 2 within ten years of each other).

He probably doesn't remember most of his F&W festivals74 I'm also curious about your feelings of the F&W festival. Have you been to Epcot during that time? I'm doing a girls trip oct 17-20th.
The last one was absolutely terribly bad, Batman and Robin bad!
My friend, you need to read the graphic novels....
I thought maingate blackouts have already started?
Spirit, do you have any Epcot info? Are they doing anything besides new eateries?

Not likely beyond the new Soarin film, which still wouldn't debut before 2015 or 2016.
Yes. I'm saying they'll wind up deciding that they don't need them just like they did with the fall/winter ones.
I can't recall when they are blocked out until. I want to say all of this month and most of next, but maybe a CM here has the exact dates.

Many, many times.
My feelings are the event was once a must for me, but like everything else, Disney has taken a lot of the 'value' out of it.
They had FREE tastings from the mid-90s until three years ago ... now, they're like $15 each. Samples are largely very small and instead of being priced at the $.75-2.00 range that they started with now can be $5 or more. You can get an incredible meal at a signature dining location for a day of standing over trash cans eating tiny samples on paper plates.
Disney wouldn't mind thatThen I'll have a few extra cocktails so I will forget how much I'm getting ripped off.
Assuming it actually gets made.
I'm fine with Soarin! the way it is except for the condition of the film and the theater. The film itself? Great. Awesome. Wouldn't change it.
I may be a neophyte when it comes to actual film production but if people can make, film, post, market, and distribute 2-3 hour movies all in 1-2 years ... why in the hell would it take until 2016 to make a 5 min movie? Am I missing something? Why couldn't this be filmed and inserted in by the end of the year?
I'll take your very fair question and raise you one or more ... Like why can UNI create an E-Ticket in 11 months, but Disney needs six years for Avatar? Or why does it take the same amount of time to build a kiddie coaster that it will take to build a MK park, two resort hotels, a DD-like complex and assorted infrastructure in Shanghai? Or why does it take five years to expand Fantasyland in 2009-14, but it only took three to build EPCOT Center from 1979-82? Questions ... We have many.
Has the big, spirited change come yet?
