Although I am not Lee, I will say that it is nice and well done, but small. And NOTHING in G'burg/Pigeon Forge is worth the price except for Dollywood. But that is the nature of "The Tourist Trap in the Hills". It is the mountain version of Myrtle Beach.
Agreed. I spent a small fortune on the Ripley's museum and multiple rounds at various mini-golfs.
And parking! Minimum $5 everywhere in G'burg.

I think I counted four cracker barrel resteraunts there on our last visit.
This is a plus in my world!! I like the Cracker Barrel. That potato casserole at breakfast...has to be about 1000 calories, but OMG. Yum!

Never been to Pigeon Forge, but want to go! Saw the Dixie Stampede in Orlando. Loved it. Those little pigs jumping their little hurdles! I thought I'd die laughing!

I've been many times. That area is a fun trip every few years and Dollywood is a nice little park.

The trick is to try not to be overwhelmed by the profusion of odd dinner shows, pancake restaurants, mini-golf/go-kart joints, and the worlds largest over abundance of tacky t-shirt shops.
Sure, but can you pass up the building with King Kong climbing up the side. That caught my attention. I think it's a wax museum, but when I was there last December I didn't have time to check it out.

I'd rather have Skull Island repalce Lost Continent.
I wouldn't. The Lost Continent is beautiful and original. Toon Lagoon is really rather stale and has little substance to it, besides the amazing Popeye & Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges and semi-amazing Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls.

Yeah, but there's nothing good to do in Lost Continent. That is unless you want to watch arguably the worst show in Orlando or a meh walkthrough.

Yes, but it's just an attraction issue. Not a whole land issue. I just love the theming of The Lost Continent and I love how it is not based on an IP. And plus, The Lost Continent has Mythos. I like Mythos. I like the cream of mushroom soup at Mythos.

I love Mythos.

I still haven't tried Mythos, but one of these days I will. However, it would be easy to retheme Mythos.

Sorry to derail the thread, but has anyone else noticed there are no construction images of TDS online. If anyone has images please post.
Edit: images of dirt/grass patches don't count.
