Well before you walk into a conversation and try to shat on those around you.. you should do some recon first. But if you like to be the one waltzing in like the village idiot.. more power to you.
I'm not the one that never heard of 'human geography' until today... or mentioned collage history or anthropology on a WDW forum. Perhaps if there was less thread drifts like mentioned above, the real topics wouldn't be buried.

Might want to look in the mirror before calling me out as the village idiot.

Looks like Iger/TWDC is taking the high ground on the Broadcast v Aereo dispute.

Really pulling for Aereo to get through their legal issues and expand. It really is a great idea (though I can understand the opposition's point of view).

Kudos to Disney/ABC for getting live broadcast over internet up and running, but I am not really looking forward to a future where I am spending 10$/mo./network for TV access vs. 100/mo. for cable.

Wow, gone for 4 days and only 2 pages behind!!
My main observation from my few days at WDW (aside from the crazy flies of course) was that at the end of a lot of the "spiels" the last line is now "Please supervise your children" Seriously!! That is really really sad. Have things really gotten so bad that parents have to be reminded to do this?

DH made us switch our APs to the new ones so we could use the tap entry thingy. It was kinda cool, but we were a little concerned that no one seemed to notice we had entered the park. The 2 CMs that were assigned to that area were helping other families (I still have no idea what you need help with, it's not that complicated!) so we tapped and got the green light so we just walked in. Does this mean we are officially being tracked now? have we given up all of our privacy rights? No one mentioned any of that when we exchanged our tickets.

For the record I took AP Eurpean History, calculus, and the reading and writing English tests as a senior in high school. There were a ton of school groups at Epcot. I do know where New York is on a map.

As long as we're talking about this, a pro-tip I learned in high school that served me well: If you're (or your kid is) good at standardized tests, some of the APs are easy enough that you can take them and earn college credit without taking an AP course. I got 5s in US Gov and the two Englishes without taking the AP classes, and really without even knowing what would be on the tests. My understanding is that with a few hours of studying from one of those review books, one can master the material for Human Geo and Environmental Science as well. Might save you a bunch of money on college course, but you might have to fight the school to let you take the exams.

True, you just need to have good deductive skills for the multiple choice section and be articulate in the writing sections. I do wonder with all the changes that are coming to the test in the next two to three years if it will be harder to do what you describe.
