Speaking of Spirit...did everyone hear that Joe Rhodes has been taken off the docket for the 15th Anniversary of Animal Kingdom. Wonder if he will be spending more time with Tony now? Interesting!

Sorry I posted this before I finished reading the thread! Please forgive me!

Dude, every time you type something like this I laugh. I'm being completely serious. I've got work open on two monitors, I click on the minimized magic link, read "precisely" and I laugh out loud. If you want to make me laugh, you're accomplishing your goal.

You mean it wasn't a rhetorical question? o_O

Few people get my humor. Some are so confused they even get mad at me. Even put me on ignore. Hilarious.

The "ignore" feature is A-m-a-z-i-n-g. My screen is a much happier place with certain people sitting in the corner with a "dunce" hat on.
I does make some threads hard to read -- you have to infer their presence when no one quotes them but several reply to them, but I'd much rather infer their presence than actually put up with it.

BTW, you can't imagine how much I hold back. I would be over-the-top but the mods would get way too many complaints from those who take themselves too seriously. Such a shame. I need to find a Disney forum without restrictions.

Based on my research, which is now years old and dated, this forum is the one where you can "let loose" so to speak.

Deep thoughts.......If you ignore someone and they quote you, do you just see your quote? Would you un-ignore just to see why they quoted you? What if the quoted you to pay homage to your brilliance? Would you un-ignore or would you assume that the quote in question was some kind of massive mistake on your part since Poopyhead McJones whom you put on ignore decided to quote and praise?

It seems silly to me to use ignore. If one can't be on a discussion board without taking everything to heart, it will be a problem. Also seems kind of immature to me as well. If I don't like what someone said about a topic, I will try to give the opposing view. The original poster isn't going to accept it, of course, but you might influence others. If you go around worrying what people, that you probably don't even know, think about your ideas, it is going to be a rough life. OR I will not click onto the thread to begin with.

I find this very insulting and will not only ignore you on these boards, but will also put my hands over my ears and scream, "I can't hear you" the whole time you're talking should we ever meet in real life.

I don't ignore myself, but some people are more sensitive than I am, so I'm cool with it. I just hope that when the ignore function is used, it is not merely to "filter out" those with differing views on WDW cuz that kind of defeats the point of taking part in this message board.

It has been brought to my attention that you have seen the errors of your ways and wish to be un-ignored by paying homage to my brilliance.

So to answer your question: yes, I will see my own text show up. Without your manifold praise. I shall then temporarily de-ignore you to see if your petty grovelling pleases me, which may or may not affect my decision to un-ignore you.
