Why'd they turn it off? Super curious about that.
Siemens thought it looked “hokey” and “fake”. It might even be just covered up rather than shut off.

That is wild to me. Assuming it’s not off the table?I realize that, hence why I said they were just switched off.
What if someone comes from a crazy family? Perhaps they don't like their family? Perhaps thinking of their family causes them severe emotional distress. It's both! And don't forget family and Disney!
If that is not sarcasm, count me out until they change it.Beyonce is confirmed for the new voice overlay
Not the greatest video but it's something to show the wheel spinning:
6:08 for wheel if it doesn't start there.
At 8:45, using the left side of the earth projection and a star... is the star field finally moving again? It sure looks like it. Or it's the camera doing some trickery...

Most likely further along than people realize. But that may mean it will be closed for more than 2 years if not already done planning.Highly unlikely that they would book anyone to record the text for a ride which they're probably still designing.

I do hope they can be on time with this one. But seeing as to their track record lately, it will be late. Then it will break down a lot.Which is the rumor... (if not longer).
I’ve heard 2023 mentioned. Which of course would be silly since that would be longer than it took to build. Most likely further along than people realize. But that may mean it will be closed for more than 2 years if not already done planning.
So, either it will remain operational for a while longer or......... we are now up to potentially FOUR YEARS?!?I’ve heard 2023 mentioned. Which of course would be silly since that would be longer than it took to build.
I will give them the fact that the ride system will be removed and replaced. They will also need to remove and demo the set areas. This demo has to be done diligently as the superstructure has to remain intact. Then they have to build new stuff. I am hoping at the very least that they have a freight elevator.I’ve heard 2023 mentioned. Which of course would be silly since that would be longer than it took to build.
March 2020 to March 2023 would be 3 years. So, either it will remain operational for a while longer or......... we are now up to potentially FOUR YEARS?!?
EDIT: sorry, I am sleep deprived. That would still be a potential of three full years plus months.
They have an elevator. Not much bigger than a ride vehicle.I will give them the fact that the ride system will be removed and replaced. They will also need to remove and demo the set areas. my edit allows for delays... you know.... it is DisneyMarch 2020 to March 2023 would be 3 years.

Yes. Although like everything about this building repairs are unusual. I believe a roof membrane leak was fixed from inside.I've never seen scaffolding or tarps around SSE. Have there ever been an issue with it leaking?

We don't know yet. We must assume that everything is getting axed.not all of them though, isn't it only from the industrial revolution and after? or has this become a near full gutting/rebuild
