Spaceship Earth Decent Upgrades?

Don't worry about that. All of WDW will be polished and shiny for its 40th anniversary.

3 years is a long time... of course thats the 'deadline' not the 'starting line' :)

I think the point in all of this is that when there is nothing new going on attractions wise (Idol not withstanding) it makes for boring times for the wdw fanatic..

I'm just eager to get another 'new attraction' annoucement...

but, aren't we all?

No, Martin was able to confirm that the girl in the window was removed from the window and became Keiko, who was the girl doing the video chat with the boy.

The window was boarded back up.

Great, so after reading 11 pages I've learned that SSE will at some point in the future be changed. When, what or why is up for debate and discussion.

So, to recap, we learned what we already knew - at some point every attraction changes.

But its in regards to tweaking and adding into the descent only, not the whole attraction. SSE in general will not be changing for a very very long time as jedimaster has stated a few posts back.

Wait a minute they had the triangles in the 86 version? Just goes to show they went backwards rather than forward with the new descent.

Google Siemens Generation 21.

Similar concept. Different execution, but yes.

Like I've said before... The upgrades to the descent are in place as are the plans for them. Audio will be the last Known aspect of the projeCt. :animwink:

They had similar screens, some being triangles. Sometimes the answers for the future are in the past.

Would they still be able to do this during nights only, or would they just close it during the slower season for a day unannounced?

That's what I was thinking,a quick quiet closure with minimal freakout. When it opens back UP however...:lookaroun

Sorry but that is incorrect. The spaceship driver AA was still up in her place without cosmetics, half torn apart as of a year ago. Ride and Show Engineering would go down there sometimes (you access that space by climbing down a ladder from the area right next to the star projector) and take parts from the AA. There was also an old pack of cigarettes and a MAPO tag still down there.

The Keiko girl as was/is the boy is just a static mannequin.
