Someone else is footing at least part of the bill. That’s what protects it.Is this definitely happening or is there a chance it got cut and we just haven't found out about it yet?

If it’s cut I’ve not heard. Is this definitely happening or is there a chance it got cut and we just haven't found out about it yet?
The original intent was fall next year.I'm assuming this will be late 2019-early 2020 at this rate?

Pillsbury? After all, they were behind the infamous "Space Food Sticks."Someone else is footing at least part of the bill. That’s what protects it.
Easiest way is drop a huge chunk of money with a company like Virgin Galactic and get your g-training and simulated space shot in the centrifuge that was the basis for Mission Space.I want to ride those ones
No idea. Epcot projections seem to be very fluid. And the current intent? I know you mentioned you haven’t much recent info on the project, just wondering.

Or join the USAF or USN/USMC and become a combat fighter pilot and get your g-rating / support research in two monster systems at WPAFB.

Priorities, money, redesign...I know you probably can't say but I have to ask .... any particular reason why things seem to be "in flux", so to speak?

It could well be.Is the stalling a good thing? It very well could.....slowling pushing bad plans into the garbage.
It could well be.
Indeed. The company manufactures tactical military training centrifuges. I ridden one of them; 8 Gs in a "real" centrifuge makes MS seem like an office chair that spins...Not quite, at least on a per unit basis - the manufacturer has made some for the military that make this seem like a carousel set on extra slow.

"Only 8Gs". "Only"? That's just awesome. I know my body wouldn't be able to handle that. I've done Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion after the reworked turn and I only saw black (and my hearing went weird) until the top of the next hill. I believe it sustains 3-3.5 during that turn. M:S doesn't bother me though. The top video shows the typical military training centrifuge, capable of delivering up to 9Gs. I ridden a virtual clone of this device, but only to 8Gs (but that was enough). The device shown in the lower video is one-of-a-kind, designed strictly for research purposes. The individual shown riding it is a professional colleague and friend; he was one of my interns most of 20 years ago
