All the food in the Space Restaurant will be raw potatoes grown in human feces.
I'd be okay with that.
However, I'd be much more interested in the technology where they grow potatoes that aren't raw.

So I'm assuming a late 2019 opening for this?
This is WDW. You're more likely to get...Early preview of Space Restaurant dining...

Looks like a different view of the Mission: Space wing that was discussed a few pages back.
It's not gutted, but was never finished.Yep. If you go this area next to Mission Space at night you can see inside this wing and it looks gutted down to metal on the walls.
Probably. Was meant to be around 15 months away but seems to have slipped slightly. So I'm assuming a late 2019 opening for this?
This. Concrete floors. Mezzanine balcony with no handrails. Steel open staircase. Unfinished walls. And an oddly complete elevator. It’s a bit dirty and dusty but a fascinating snapshot from 2003.It's not gutted, but was never finished.
Would this likely be included as part of the Restaurant, perhaps the entrance?Probably. Was meant to be around 15 months away but seems to have slipped slightly.

That’s it exactly. Remodelled of course.Would this likely be included as part of the Restaurant, perhaps the entrance?
What you describe sounds show-ready for a NASA restaurant. “Step far into the future to experience the 2020 American space program!”Probably. Was meant to be around 15 months away but seems to have slipped slightly.

Upstairs in the front of the Horizons building.where was the Horizons GE lounge? Was it under Horizons on the right side of the building? I remember seeing pictures a long time ago but can't recall. This restaurant update just made me think of it.
Watch it when they go weightles you can toss your cookies In there..This was the best surprise of the D23 panel. I'm excited to eat in space! So, no IP for this one?
It's sort of a budget-conscious way to get that "I'm living in space" feel for an hour or so. Will cost a lot less than the Star Wars resort.

The writing sounds like its in the amazon and an undiscovered Aztec ruin. Its not a surprise or an uncovered building.
That'll probably be on the dessert menu... "Tossed Cookies -- a delicious assortment of pre-chewed and moistened baked goodies, complete with your choice of a small energy drink or water. Only $12.95 per person (emesis bag required; sold separately)"Watch it when they go weightles you can toss your cookies In there..
