Trip Report Soon it will just be two of us - A very unique Max Trip Report

Hello to all of my WDWMagic friends

For those that did not notice I am back now from an extended absence from the boards even though @Tuvalu did her best to keep me engaged
The reason for the disappearing act was a very special (and time consuming) event
So we start this report with a wonderful trip down the aisle...

Stephanie and Jordan got married!!!

The venue was a (very) local golf course (5 min drive from our house)
Both the ceremony and reception were in the same room

Pictures at the house - Cassie was the maid of honour

The grooms people were (left to right) a combination of Jordan's brother Evan, his best man is his best friend from high school( also named Jordan!) , his two close friends from University (Maria and Roshni) and Cassie's BF Shane

This one was just before the walk down the aisle - I held it together - no blubbering at all!

When you spend a small fortune on a wedding you get a front row seat!!!

The bride was beautiful! And I love the dresses (nice fall rose color in particular), on the bridesmaids, with the cream shawls. The group photos were attractive with the dark suits contrasting with the dresses, against the rustic wood wall behind them. Very nice, Max!

The bride did not want the shawls when Tricia suggested them 1 month before - she was very humble and thankful on the day off as they were shivering when they took them off for a picture!!

Looks like a beautiful wedding! Can’t wait to hear about Disneyland.

DLR report will be included!

Looks like such a beautiful day and you all look so happy. Congratulations to the bride and groom! I hope they have many wonderful years together!

Ahhh congrats! The wedding looked lovely. Now to destress at DLR

De stressing has been going quite well since the Oct 5th wedding - but the empty wine bottles are piling up a bit.

I’m assuming there will be a Disney component to this report?!

Not sure if I can strut quite as well as Woody but this was the general intention
(and of course there will be a Disney component - this is a Disney site and not a general travel blog correct?)

What lovely photos. I love that the grooms female friends were included in the wedding party. Looking forward to hearing more.

The girls rocked the suits!! Actually the girls ended up picking the exact colour because they picked up their suits first. The guys bought custom suits and used a swatch from the girls to do the colour match

Lovely wedding. Love the Up cake, and the arts and crafts project. The bride was beautiful! Looking forward to hearing about Disneyland!

Note: Tricia put a lot of time into the centerpieces so all three of us had A&C responsibilities

Both girls have less than one year to go - so it will be just the two of us at home soon as well

but how did this one happen?

Well I was able to land a trip to a Toyota plant in - wait for it- Mexico!

in Baja California, which is a state in Mexico due south of San Diego - and for those that know their geography it is close to Tijuana

the cool part is that we stay in San Diego and travel to the plant each day

so when I told Tricia we both thought- let’s go to DLR together before the work starts

so this is the plan:
Thursday Nov 7(in 3 days!) we fly out to LA
3 nights at the Grand Californian
Tricia flys back home to Canada on Sunday
I drive to SD and go to work

I will report back after the trip( no live reporting for this guy)

I will keep it mostly Disney because SD will not be that exciting - although Mexico might spice it up a bit ?
