Trip Report Soon it will just be two of us - A very unique Max Trip Report

Hello to all of my WDWMagic friends

For those that did not notice I am back now from an extended absence from the boards even though @Tuvalu did her best to keep me engaged
The reason for the disappearing act was a very special (and time consuming) event
So we start this report with a wonderful trip down the aisle...

Stephanie and Jordan got married!!!

The venue was a (very) local golf course (5 min drive from our house)
Both the ceremony and reception were in the same room

Pictures at the house - Cassie was the maid of honour

The grooms people were (left to right) a combination of Jordan's brother Evan, his best man is his best friend from high school( also named Jordan!) , his two close friends from University (Maria and Roshni) and Cassie's BF Shane

This one was just before the walk down the aisle - I held it together - no blubbering at all!

When you spend a small fortune on a wedding you get a front row seat!!!

Day 2
One change since our last visit in August 2017 was they are not giving free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the quick serve/cafeteria
You just have to show your room key
So when I got my first "free" drink I decided to get artistic (@fractal - this one is for you)

Thanks for the shout out - nice pic! Good use of the "rule of thirds" and a wide aperture to blur the background but not too much; allowing us to identify where you're at.

We rode the Jungle Cruise next (not the Jingle Cruise)

Headed toward the hub but did not visit any princesses

Hey lets stare into the sun and take a selfie

Decided to ride a couple of FL rides ( PP was too busy - No FP in Anaheim)

Hold up - what do I spy?

Way to maintain the theme folks!

I always feel like somebody's watching me!!!

This was cute - the musicians were playing as they rode the carousel !

Day 2
Next up was Pinocchio which is unique to DLR - a cute little dark ride

And no visible cleaning products on this one!!

Mr Toad had a line so we kept moving towards Tomorrowland and saw this on the way

We skipped Matterhorn because we like our vertebrae right where they are , thank you very much!

I forgot to mention that we did purchase Max Pass on Day 2 and 3 ( $15 per person per day)
We felt we would get our $$ worth on our two full days but not on the two partial days
I like it because you can book your next FP (think old school FP system in WDW) but you can do it on your phone
(without having to walk to the attraction to the machines)
The machines are still there for those that do not purchase the extremely well named Max Pass

My only complaints are
1) DLR your wifi sucks - had to use my non personal phone to stay connected
2) No reason to charge for it - I bet the MaxPass app cost (invest and maintain) is probably less than maintaining the actual machines!

Unfortunately i did not keep track of FP - although I do know our first one for Indy was turned into a Multi Use because it was down

Day 2
Stitch wanted in on the action so while Tricia shopped we did a photo shoot

He then met some friends in the store

Oops - not those guys...these friends!

We booked a FP and walked onto Buzz

Did not score well on the ride but Tricia found a new friend (he did not come home though)

Other shopping but no buying (don't worry - she starts buying soon)

I’m pretty sure the 64.99 was for the merchandise beneath the sign. Likely Spirit Jerseys (note the cropped letters before the price.)

I 100% agree about their WiFi. I am one of the few people without unlimited data and I went over my data limit twice on our trip. I kept getting dropped off WiFi. Hubs wasn’t too happy.

I humbly stand corrected - my only trip to DLP was in 2011 and I do not think we rode it at that time
Returning to DLP is something I want to do - maybe next Christmas we can go together?

Day 2
Continuing on after Buzz we headed to Adventureland

We used our FP for Indy
Not sure why I took this one - probably trying to not take the typical pics I always take of this ride

Love this ride - one of my favourites

Walked back toward the hub and did another photo shoot with Stitch
Normally it is Cassie who gets her picture taken with the small statues

Day 2
And then some Cast Members got in on the fun

The band marched by...

Even the "plaids' wanted their picture taken

The sun was in his eyes for this one so I can understand why he had one eye closed

Stitch was a thumbs up for Chistmas in November - Max and Tricia were struggling with the concept on Nov 8!!

Miss DeVil was meeting on the street

We did not stop because we were Park Hopping today!!

Einser's opening day comments - I had never stopped to read this one previously

Found these in the store window - you can have a poseable Stitch too!!
