LoL thanks..thats my "freelance company" site...I havnt really updated the work on there in a long time..but...since my main focus is MEL scripting and plug-in enhancment...my modeling needs some work...here is something I was working on for SIGGraph.....it would be easy to do this in Lightwave..but this is 100% maya ;)

btw, are those stones mapped?

Yep...

The scene has 55 lights (eww)..and the render time is around 20 minutes per frame..but since maya doesnt have a native GI or radiosity render engine...(and i cant afford mental ray)...its the best way...I plan to release the plug in i wrote to handle the "faked" illumination for a minimal fee....its still quite buggy tho :(

Hey Cal Disney. How old are you anyway? Realize that I'm 24 and am currently pursuing my second art degree. Now Inc is incredibly talented and experienced as well. Much more than me for that matter. It seems like you're into drawing A LOT, which is GREAT. That is something I have never had. WANTING to sit around and draw is a HUGE asset. I know you're younger so don't think you won't be able to do this type of quality stuff as you progress. It seems to me you are advanced as it is. Keep up the drawing and keep posting it. I'd love to see what you have. MSUSA

As much as I HATE to say it...i am a "Professional artist"..so I spend most of my time improoving what i can..since it will eventually help me get more money.

I am in now way an animator...i know the principles of the process and can be an art director for an animation..but my "skill" is technical. I went to school for a long time and worked a LOT of "free" internships to learn what I have learned...

My 2D skills are...well...I need to work on those ;)

I'll post a few more things tommorow (had a "busy" day today so I didnt have a chance to sort thru my newer stuff)...
