On Spidy, I never lost the sensation of riding around, watching a 3-d film.

There is something about the 3D technology that makes it hard to really let go and believe. I think that is why they are going to 4D, to compensate.

Soarin' without the "Soarin'" theme?! SACRILEGE! That is the best music ever!

Ehhh, seems like standard movie theme x from Warner Brothers to me.
Okay. That was REALLY harsh. I apologize, I've heard it from CD, not from experience. So I take that back.
But have the Soarin theme, then top it off at the end with Listen to the Land.
Oh, I would just cry.

maybe we can compromise? Have "Listen to the Land" slowly blend into "Soarin'" in the queue, and then have the post show have "Listen to the Land"? I'll call Michael on speed-dial to give him my recommendation...Eisner+Kyle=TIGHT!

What if they re recorded a bot of Listen to the land and worked it in? It was hardly a long song instrumentally. Kind of like they did with Baroque in Light Magic?
Yes, your feet dangle when you are suspended...it is like a giant hang-glider with a seatbelt as your only restraint. I'm not quite sure of what you are exactly asking w/ your second question, but there are two theatres that hold 108 guests each at a time, and there are 3 preshow areas (not really rooms) for each theatre. The ride cycle is approximately 5 minutes, so 216 guests (for both theatres) cycle through ever 5 minutes. 2000-2400 guests per hour experience this attraction.Originally posted by jmaxwell007
ok, i have skinned over this thread and others and trying to figure something out.................... i havent ridden DCA Soarin and im curious about the theater. Once it (meaning you chair) rises to 40 some odd feet, is it suspended from the ceiling so your feet dangle?
and 1 more thing, is there more than 1 viewing theater for wait time in the que line?
thanks

If his source is who he says it is, then the information it pretty good. If the cell phone static distorted the info, then the story could be wrong.

Ooooh...I loved the part of Baroque Hoedown in Light Magic...sounded so awesome! If they changed Disney's Electrical Parade to have fully instrumented music like that, I'd actually be able to stand the parade! I'd def. go for a remixed verse from Listen to the Land in the Soarin' theme!
