News Soarin' Over California returning to EPCOT for a limited time

Cali is awful and dated. Transitions are bad, the video is low quality, and the night scene is unbearable. It doesn’t fit EPCOT and y’all are just clinging to nostalgia. I’ll see myself out.

Cali is better than World, but leaving Cali permanently at EPCOT would be bad. They need to film a new version (preferably still world, but USA, North America, something) that doesn't have such significant warping issues or such terrible CGI.

If only there were beautiful and majestic places in North America that could be filmed for this ride...

So... they will film in 2025? And debut the "new Soarin'" around 2027? Give or take 2 years.
I realize you are joking a bit, but Disney has nothing announced for 2025. I wouldn’t be surprised to see things like this and Zootopia 3D open in 2025 so there’s something to market. It’s looking increasingly like Bayou Adventure will be a hit so they may be satisfied with it and CBMJ this year.

That would be the Bob & Josh thing to do. Market the bejeezus out of a remake (that only the furries want, I'll never willingly set foot inside that theater until Z******* is gone) and a new movie for an existing attraction. And TBA will be heavily, heavily marketed for at least 2 years.

Don’t forget, if Inside Out 2 actually makes money (I truly hope it’s great; I loved the first one), they could always bring back Sadness to meet with Joy and claim it‘s new.

just wondering is that still happening? It sure has gone quiet.

I think they should just have one theater be California permanently, the other be Around the World, and the third can be management's choice. It can easily be advertised/themed like you're in an airport and you go to the gate matching your destination.
Didn’t we hear they couldn’t do this because of how the smell machines are run? I agree this would be ideal.
