Thanks! I had fun trying new things! Can't wait to try more new things in the Sorcerer's Apprentice!

Apologies for the sloppy podcasting last night. That was very much a "Get In Get Out" situation and I promise I'll be recording a more professional retrospective on this project over the weekend.

Semi Finals Part Two: Volcano Who?

In the circles of the Orlando the much-hyped Universal "Water Adventure Park" Volcano Bay is a bit of a joke. Featuring aproximately one impressive structure and a sea of obvious water slide tubes and supports, the park simply doesn't offer the immersion it promised and doesn't even go above the decades-old Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon in terms of base-level theming. Disney, wanting to rub salt in the wounds of their most fierce competition, has hired you to one up Universal at their own game.

Purists: The goal of this project will be to create a BUDGET water park to attach to one of Disney's value resorts. This park should be small enough to not entice too many travelers to come out to it (to keep the park somewhat exclusive to the hotel it's attached to) but cool enough to entice people to want to stay at the resort to check it out. A fine line to walk there, but one I'm sure the final four are prepared to cross. Budget and realism will be key factors here.

Innovators: Show Universal what a "Water Adventure Park" really is and basically create a new Disney water park for WDW that curb-stomps on Volcano Bay's ambitions and delivers a truly next level experience. Creativity and presentation will be key factors here.

Haha me too. I’m not the biggest water-Park person (I’ve never been to a Disney or Universal one. Does the Great Wolf Lodge count?), but im sure that we will both manage
