He said we'd like the replacement, what ever it is, so I don't mind as long as I get back to DHS before it closes.
And honestly I have no doubt it will be an amazing ride, and one that certainly belongs and deserves to be in the park. It just sucks that they can't build a new ride for it instead of taking one away, which IMO is incredibly stupid given how bad the park capacity is/will be when SW opens.

I believe part of the rumor was that it would infact be going to both resorts. Which would kinda suck from an originality standpoint; if this is to be the main "signature" attraction of the park I want it to be unique :p
I would be okay with "copies" if they were copies in how Disneyland Tokyo's pooh ride is a million times better that Wdw. And DL

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Honestly I don't know what management is doing...
Picking names out of a hat to keep things interesting. Kind of like the Hunger Games, you know. Pick out a ride and a spin a wheel, retheme, refurbish, shut down, nothing. Only way to explain these idiotic decisions :banghead:
In other (bad) news, it looks like GMR is closing. Luckily it won't be until after the TCM sponsorship ends, which at least gives us time to go on it one last time before it closes.
 I really liked GMR , and not a fan of the ride this to replace it with. :cautious:

It's going to be a Mickey Mouse themed LPS dark ride
Nope not okay with this. But unlike TOT I cant see GMR being spared by the fans. Too many would prefer Mickey over Classic Movies.

Yeah, you're probably right. The main backlash I've seen has mostly been about not building a new ride, not so much the ToT factor.

If Disney really wanted to put this Mickey ride there though, and TCM still wants to keep a classic movie thing in the park, I think an AA TCM walk through attraction somewhere would be a nice medium.

Dobby has a friend who loves trains, and he showed Dobby something similar to this. He says Parliament should not have been so ignorant as to annex the Hull and Barnsley Railway into its rival company; the North Eastern Railway, when the Midland Railway or the Great Central Railway wouldn't have made the H&BR a backwater.

Anyone get a chance to see Suicide Squad yet? I saw it last night and honestly was close to loving it! It's far and away the best of the DC Extended Universe movies so far and makes the Snyder Superman movies look embarrassing by comparison. Lots of great style, loved how the Squad was introduced in the comic book panel format. Leto's Joker is basically the Hannibal Lecter of the film. Not in it for that long but definitely makes a huge impression. Margo Robbie was fantastic and not as much of a Tara Strong imitation as I was hearing it would be. Probably the most surprising character was Rick Flag who I thought I wouldn't like based on the actor's performance from the trailers but he ended up being the emotional core of the movie to a certain extent, along with Deadshot and the storyline with his father of course.

All in all, the thing feels like one giant live action episode of Batman: The Animated Series especially with how Joker comes into the plot and interacts with Harley. Amanda Waller is an amazing "personal antagonist" while the actual villain was a surprise I didn't see coming. Only nitpick is that Katana seemed pretty much worthless and I would have loved to have seen more from Boomerang and Killer Crock who were both pulled off really well but given very limited screen time. This isn't a Guardians of the Galaxy level LOVE for me, but it's so freaking encouraging to enjoy a DC movie this much after that OTHER movie we got this year.
