I was at Coronado Springs. I looked up and down every rack in the gift shop for a CS pin, but none were there. It was disappointing at the time not to be able to find one, but I am way over it.

We visited a couple other resorts while we were there, eating at the Poly and at the Wilderness Lodge. When browsing around the gift shop in the Wilderness Lodge, I didn't see any WL pins either, but my search motivation wasn't as strong.

I'm guessing the resorts issue pins from time to time, but don't keep them in stock. Anybody know for sure?

I don't know how they issue them, but I have a WL and a CSR pin I purchased about a year ago. If your interested both as well as other pins from these resorts can also be found on Ebay.

Grizz,

I think you know what my answer to this poll would be... :animwink:

Actually, maybe 2 years ago I would be "OMIGOD GIMME GIMME!", but now, I have such a nice collection, I don't need any more Tinker Bell pins or New Years Day pins.

How about some Wonders of Life? Horizons? World of Motion? Dreamfinder?

I usually only buy ride pins (i.e. ToT and Mission: Space), but my sister goes nuts whenever she finds new Stitch pins!

Coronado Springs isn't the only one that people were having trouble finding. I was down in August and there was a guy trying to find a pin for the Contemporary because that's where he was staying. The closest I was able to find for him was one for Chef Mickey's, but he wanted an actual resort pin, so he was out of luck. When I went to any of the pin shops or kiosks after that, I kept an eye out in case I found one so if I happened to run into him again I could get it to him.

I love pins. I always stop at a pin cart knowing they have the same pins. LOL No matter how hard I try I end up spending over $100 on pins per trip. I find that if I buy a few here and there is seems as if I'm not spending as much money. I also make it a point to get a resort pin during my stay that way I can remember all the resorts I've stayed at.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
I only like pins from things in Epcot's Future World... if I see a cool pin... I get it...

I also have some cool transportation ones.

But I am not a pin freak.

We colect them as a family. Each person has their favorite character to collect.

I wear a different one at school each day. They're real attention grabbers, and the students check with me everyday.

I must admit that I am a pin addict! They are relatively inexpensive (at least in Disney terms) memento. I love the pins from Disney World, as they remind me of an attraction or trip.

Thank you. See? I am not the only person who had the thought of picking up a pin of and from the resort where he was staying, only to strike out. The Contemporary, for crying out loud!

Anyway, when the trip was over, for me, the desire to buy a resort pin was over as well. Thank you to all who have posted helpful suggestions on where to pick up a Coronado Springs pin on the secondary market and/or at Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney. I really appreciate your kind thoughts.

I only own 7 pins so I'm obviously not much of a collector. If I see one though that I like alot, I'll get it. Right now I'm trying to hunt down the one of Pluto dressed as Mickey for my mom (she LOVES Pluto). I looked in every shop and cart that sold pins at MK last weekend and they were all out. Was going to try the pin store at Downtown Disney after I left the park, but I missed the exit and ended up just going to I-4 to go home as I was tired. I'll try again when I go back next month.

Prior to our recent trip, my wife had 4 pins and a lanyard from our trip to DLP in 2002.

We now have approximately 45 pins and 3 lanyards....

She is " doing this for our daughter" and the pins will go to her eventually, but she really enjoyed trading with cast members. She just collects what she likes, and near the end of this trip started on the state collection, but there is no real pattern.

There are worse things that she could have wanted me to buy! :)

I admit it. I'm a pin freak. When I plan how much money to bring for I think about how many pins it would buy. And that's basically where all of my extra money goes.

I really will only get pins I like - such as Star Wars and pins with monorails on them. I would also like a CoP pin, but haven't found one for sell - at least not a current one. Have seen pictures of one that was once available. Anyone know if a CoP will come to a pin station???

I could get seriously addicted to them if it wasn't for the price and the fact we can't easily get them over here...

How about a WDWMagic.com pin to go with the Tshirts? :sohappy:

Uh oh! I made a grammer mistake! I meant would there be a CoP pin coming to a pin station in the near future. I wqoudln't dream of them turning the CoP into a pin station ~ I guess that's what I get when I post messages late at night :)

Don't know of any planned for WDW, but there are two that I know of from Disneyland...older, say 5 to 10 years ago. If you want to look up pins that are/were available, check www.pinpics.com They have a good search feature.

There's a pin to come out next month that has Dreamfinder and Figment on it and from what I could tell, it is good size. It's a LE of either 2500 or 5000 if I remember right. It's for the 5th (?) anniversary of official pin trading and the cheapest I've seen pre-sales of it for (READY?) $79.99 but heard that it can be over $100 to get. Just something for all you JII fans to think about getting.
