I think that it's quite likely that all of those things (Although I'm not sure if your serious about monorail expansion, so I won't include it) will happen eventually. Eventually being the key word, like sometime between 2009- and oh...2058.

Little Mermaid DR - 2-3 years
Monsters INC Coaster - 3-4 years
Star Tours II - 3-4 years
Imagination 3.0 - 3-4 years
New "Land" at AK - 5+ years
Fantasy Land Refurb - 5+ years
Monorail expansion - never

My predictions depending on how the economy fares.

I like your timeframe. If only these attractions would get greenlit now, we can have them in two years, despite the economy.

I can't wait for most of these to happen. I just ::sigh:: I don't know how great Imagination will do. It's the most amazing thing in all of Epcot (well, the original was), and I've never seen it busy. I want it to stay open more than annnnnnnnything.

I hope our FL refurb is bangin like the one DL got years ago, where there's a whole big to-do about new Fantasyland. And I don't care at all anymore about Star Tours II. It's well past time to do it.

And while I don't wanna start a fight, I would LOVE MONORAIL EXPANSION SO HARD OMG.

Looks like the only place for any new magic for the next few years is going to be at Disneyland (and Universal :lookaroun).

After this year I probably won't be going again til 2011, so I hope some nice stuff gets done before then :). Would be nice to go back to a bunch of a new stuff.

Sadly, this is probably true. With as much money as they're pouring into DCA to fix that mess, and with the economy in the tank, I can't really see them spending too much at WDW. If anything, they will probably do some small refurbs, and maybe a B or C ticket in one of the parks (maybe Epcot will get a Dumbo spinner), but, I would be highly surprised to see anything major in the next 2 years.

see instead of taking this as an opportunity..

instead of using this 'slow economy' as an opportunity, the Management is shooting themselves in the foot.

IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME.. and now is the time to build, when prices are LOW. cheap. inexpensive.

right now.. and labor is cheap.. because no one is working. and there are discounts to be made and had.. RIGHT NOW..

now is the time to buy almost anything for your future.. stocks, bonds.. houses.. land..

and DISNEY should be JUMPING ON THE BANDWAGON.. in fact they should be leaders of the bandwagon..

who ever is first, gets the most for the cheapest.. and its going to go up from there..

but under this current way of doing things, where accountants are king and a guy Like Walt is the stooge.. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN..

Look for NONE OF THESE PROJECTS TO HAPPEN. NONE.. ZERO..

NOT ANY.. NONE..

because it would take away from profit..

Sorry, but I can't sign on for this level of negative outlook. Some significant stuff will get done... I can't say what because I am not an insider, but from a strategic perspective, they can't rest on their laurels for long, and I would imagine that some of these projects are well into the pipeline, and will be announced when they are ready.

One thing I have seen is Disney has kept a pretty good lid on all of their projects, with very few details released, except for the few that Lee and Phil have strangled out of their sources.

Just remember

"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Shining at the end of every day...."
