Ok, a question to you guys: You know those really good salads all the restaurants seem to have now... usually (obviously  ) mixed greens, then with chicken, sometimes fruit, nuts, a really strong cheese, etc. and then there is a REALLY good sweet/sour type dressing on it? Well, I could LIVE on salads like that, but any attempts to BUY dressing that is similar in taste have been a HUGE waste of time and money. Any recipes for a good sweet and sour salad dressing? I sometimes make a wilted spinach salad with the vinegar and sugar, but I want something that isn't warm.

Hmmm I can't help you specifically with that, but I really like a honey mustard type of dressing with that sort of salad. I use Newman's honey mustard on mixed greens or baby spinach salads. It's also pretty low in fat and you don't need much as it has a strong flavor. My recent salad favorite? roasted sunflower seeds!

Tyson anytizers---had to get to soccer!

Oh but those are so good :lookaroun :slurp:

A big favorite around here (that I don't buy often) is "crap in a can" as my husband puts it :ROFLOL: Chef Boyardee, Spaghettio's, etc. I can't eat it anymore, but the rest of them will have that stuff gone the day it comes home from the store!! (Which is why I don't buy it often)
