For that "crusty on the outside" just spray some water into the oven (to produce steam) during the first few minutes of baking.

I went out last night with a friend and we had dinner at the Melting Pot. OMG was that delicious!!!!

Figs, Pineapple, asparagus, and balsalmic apple chicken.

Last night salmon on the grill in a lemon, butter, dill sauce, fresh steamed spinach and tomato salad. Tonight, ginger beef stir-fry.

But the BIG news is I made a cake from scratch... AND IT TURNED OUT WELL!

I think it's because I forced myself to have everything at room temperature, just like all those food network people are always saying. Again, lack of patience

I bake a lot.....and yes it does really matter! Very frustating in the winter if you foget to leave something out overnight!
