If we have a particularly big or late lunch, I don't really care about dinner. I dont' make a meal simply because "it's time". So there have been occasions where I just let everybody get whatever, knowing they aren't all that hungry and it would just get packed away as leftovers anyhow.

Cucumbers and ice cream, yum! :lol:
