So are we to assume that nothing new is coming to AK or Epcot until atleast 2014?

I'm already trying to picture an Imagination announcement for the next D23.
It begins with the audience being told someone special was coming into the arena. Then huge clouds from mist and fog machines start rolling through the stage and into the audience. Then a familiar quirky tune starts playing and we hear that familiar humming. And then you see it: The Dreamcatcher rolling onto the stage and the spotlight revealing Dreamfinder at the helm. Figment pops up from the back of the ship and Dreamfinder says "I'm back!" and the two invite us to a new Journey into Imagination, beginning a presentation on the new ride. The applause and cheering is almost deafening.

And I'll be doing this all day.

And that's about when I would start bawling.:lol:

Sheesh. That would be awe inspiring.

Hack job? I wouldn't go that far, but they certainly disappointed me.

I have all the faith in the world in Joe. Budgets? Not so much.

Which is what's in the cards.

No, I think you'd find A LOT of people here that share my view on JII.

But I'm tired of you trying to pick fights with me, so consider this my last post on the topic.

What a shocker.

I don't get it... are you claiming to be an insider?

Well, probably they would here because a lot of posters here are Epcot maniacs, even you know that. In the real world, if there was ever a survey done asking people what they wanted then for sure they'd probably choose Mysterious Island hands down.

When Imagination was first replaced, EVERYONE HATED THE 2000 VERSION. Was the most complained about attraction in the history of ANY Disney park and the bulk of those complaints were about how they took out the classic characters of the ride. They'd probably get equal support.

Certain people DO have inside knowledge! The trick is learning who to believe.

I believe SirGoofy because he has proven himself to me to know of what he speaks. You can believe who you choose to believe.

I'm sorry I disagree with you on EE, but it fell short on a lot of it's promises.

Unlike rides like...Spider-Man, Indy, or Revenge of the Mummy. Those are rides that deserve the E-ticket name.

I claim nothing. I throw the info, that I'm given(and allowed to), out. So far, most of my stuff has been pretty good. You can call me whatever you wnat.

Yea...but you don't know that. And neither do I.

Examples for future reference? I want to know I can trust him, so what is his track record?

EE deserves E just on the structure. I don't think I'm ever going to sway you on this, but when you ride EE at night you'll love it. If

So, you claim nothing but are given info and give info.... so that just makes you ....er.... lucky????

That's why I said it was probable. SirGoofy, you seem like a rational guy, do you really think Figment would be more popular than 2 e-tickets and a jaw dropping volcano with expansion room inside for a restaurant? I must be going INSANE.

I've ridden EE at night many times with a working Yeti. It still doesn't touch BTM at night. Not even close.

Sure, I consider myself lucky.

Ah, but 20K at TDS really isn't an E ticket. More a D. And we won't be getting the full volcano if we get MI. It's been stated many times by Martin. Which is what really worries me, and brings the possible project down a peg in my eyes. And I think a superb E-tick dark ride, ala JII v1, HM, TLM, will always win out over anything else. More people able to ride=more popular.

IMO MI-Volcano< JII

I'll tell you what I'd do, I'd imagine we'd hear rumblings about it beforehand, so I'd definitely go to the Expo to be there for The Return. But more importantly, I'd bring my dad along, because he took me on the original very possibly hundreds of times when I was little. To be there with him for that would be one of the most special moments of my entire life, and I certainly hope I get the opportunity.

That would be amazing. I'd give anything to have an opportunity like that.:(

God if I heard that the possibilities were huge for the return I'd have no choice but to try and get to the D23/whatever event they'd announce it at.

Anyone can ride 20k, and JttCotE offers great thrill. We'd be getting something that would fit theme either way. A possible variation might even be better.
