Snow White to get a semi-permanent meet and greet at the Germany pavilion

For everyone who likes this would you be ok with a Wall-e meet and greet in the WS or how about DAK? That makes just ad much sence ws this idea does?

Figment, there is a park up the road from Disney, called Universal. Go there. Since this bothers you so much, I hope we can expect one less person in WDW, namely.... YOU.

This is a fine idea, and I see nothing wrong with it. Takes NOTHING away from the design and scenary of the pavilion.

And your example fails. Snow White originates where??? GERMANY!!!! Wall E originates in Space. So, umm, yea. Let's get real.

I would be happy to FINALLY get a Wall-e meet and greet ANYWHERE in the parks. Even on the steps of Mexico. Have you seen the one that is in DisneyLand France?! Amazing.

It makes sense. Snow White is German, apparently. I'm not a huge fan of the idea, but I'm not going to throw a hissy fit over it.

A. Wall-e originated on Earth and not space.

B. You have either been dumbed down by the current state of Epcot or you just don't understand anything that Epcot I is supposed to be about.

If this character intergration continues they should change the name of the park to Magic Kingdom 2!

That is a bit much...

Epcot has lost it's meaning and is currently finding itself.

How does a girl who jumps into a rabbit hole plumenting into chaos come out unchanged? The answer? She doesn't.

My kids will love this, I am glad the characters are now in Epcot, brings the countries to life and an added attraction for the kids, a bit of education visiting the countries, sprinkled with some fab Disney Magic, wonderful.:)

The dumbing down if Epcot is best shown by memo in TLS, what do you learn about the seas from nemo besides that it's big, blue, and part of the world?
I'm not sure what this has to do with Snow White.

Snow White has been there for years, at least since 2000. They are providing organization for that area in a themed way.

I'm not saying your concerns aren't valid, but I don't understand the connection as the Snow White meet and greet is not new.

I agree with what's been said, I'll be okay with it as long as the meetn'greet area is themed with the rest of the pavillion. I think the WS pavillions have always had characters in them where they were themed to their natural countries, but they were just walk arounds.

Relax... don't get your panties in a knot! It's just a character meet 'n greet and by the sounds of it a pretty harmless one in terms of theme! Characters are part of WDW including Epcot... it ain't going to change or go away... so get use to it! If they can put the characters in there without ruining the theming then what is the harm!?! I don't get it!?! Kids love it and the queues to see these characters "eat up" a few people! It reduces crowds and queues elsewhere!

Seems like a good thing to me!?!

That's how it starts then TLS had a Nemo theme, next Soarin could have an UP theme, UOE could have a MI theme. If this is the direction they want to head in don't call the park Epcit anymore.

Wow. I like them all. And besides the rides would still have all them same meanings and effects, just with Disney stuff added in. I have never seen a problem with that at all.

I agree. I liked the original Epcot. But it ain't coming back.

Epcot is changing. That's only natural. It's changing according to the dictates of the people.

Disney is only giving people what they want. If people had been lining up around the block for TLS, Nemo never would have moved in. If every pavillion in WS had a character meet and greet, the WS would see a lot more foot traffic. And that's a good thing.

If you don't want to visit the character in question, walk on past. The lines everywhere else will be shorter. (Unless the meet and greets drive up attendance all around. But that's a good thing too.)

If you're waiting for EPCOT Center to return, you're going to be waiting a very long time.

So like I said if Epcot id dead why still call it Epcot?

Because, despite all of your complaining, Epcot still maintains its core message of discovery and education, albeit using Disney characters sometimes to get the message across. Seriously, you're acting like a Transformers fan, complaining about anything new and different...

Why call it Epcot to begin with? Epcot was Walt's City of Tomorrow. What Disney built was a big world's fair in the shape of a theme park.

You could change the name. Maybe someday they will. But what point would that serve?
