Yes, it's a good idea to do bottles too. Pumping can be a PIA (or wherever), but at least you can share the feeding that way.
So, do you feel like a mommy now?

Yes I do, and I love it! I could sit and look at her all day long. The past couple of days I took a nap in the recliner with her sleeping on my chest...that was just like heaven. I'm also surprised at how quickly I started to feel more like a human and less like a train wreck. There may be hope for Mia to have a sibling in the future :lol:

Yeah - you forget those birthing moments real quickly!

Isn't it just amazing how a tiny baby can just totally melt you? Enjoy it now - she'll be a toddler in a blink of an eye!

I know! I just made a shutterfly account with all her pics and my MIL said she can already see the changes since her birth.

She left yesterday. It was nice to have her here to help. Jay is on vacation for the rest of the week. His mom will be coming next Wed, so I'll be alone Mon and Tue. I think by the time MIL gets here we should be getting pretty good at the parenting routine, but it will be nice to have her help out with dinner, diapers, and other stuff around the house.

When DD was born, my mom was a big help, but she had moved to FL by the time DS was born, and MIL was no help at all. The first time you're absolutely alone with that little one is scarey and exhillerating at the same time. Cherish every moment of it!

I think I'm going to try to get one more feeding in tonight and then head to bed. Goodnight!

As excited as I am to go home, I'm going to miss the dorms, polo, and the people here. Tis sad. I'm getting all sentimental now. At least it's only for a summer.

More bleeding and little contractions this am. They're monitoring me now and have called the doc to see what to do. They may send me back up to Labor/Delivery for more continuous monitoring. Will try to update but don't get great cell service on Labor/Delivery floor. I'll text Chrissy if anything major happens, if able. Pray that it's not Baby Day today and if it is that both baby and I stay safe :kiss:

Update: I'm staying here in my normal room for now. That could change at any time should my bleeding increase. At this point it looks like it's just going to be touch and go until baby gets here. They said he's in a good spot gestationally so if they can't control the bleeding or I bleed out they will deliver. But every day counts so we'll just keep racking up as many as possible. But there may be not alot of notice. I did give DH Chrissy's cell number (hope she doesn't mind) for notification purposes.
