One can not "own" the ladder.

It is a free-spirit set to float about on winds of construction change. While you may attempt to own it in the physical sense, its essence can not be tamed...

y know when i first read this threads title i thought you were on about some sort of pait spillage at one of the parks,like LS constuction workers had dropped a ton of paint on the pavement inside the construction wall.:lol::lol:

You don't know about THE ladder??? BLASPHEMY!!! ALL HAIL THE LADDER!

It's a running thing from these boards. In almost every rehab/rebuild/new construction pic, you can find "the" ladder. It's got reddish-orange sides and silver steps (Disney obviously has hundreds of them, but they look the same, so it's "the" ladder). Eventually people would post the pic of "the" ladder... Which grew into somewhat of a cult.

You should consider yourself lucky if you should happen to see the ladder with your own eyes... For the ladder shows itself only to those true of heart. :lookaroun

I assumed the story of the ladder went something like that but thank you for the clarification. I will surely keep an eye out for "the" ladder in August!

I always stop to watch them, and the guys that perform in Africa. Two really fun shows. By the way, I really believe that the first time I saw the painters perform they had "the" ladder. It was yellowish with metal steps. But the last four or five times I've seen them they always have a white one. Maybe "the" ladder didn't like being center stage. It prefers making random appearances to keep everyone on their toes.

THE ladder is red I believe. That would be awesome though if they did get to use THE ladder in their performances.
