Thanks. :D

[pssstt.... You spelled centre wrong! :animwink:]

Go back to your igloo, Monty ... maybe you have some polar bear meat to dine on tonight!:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

(Do we have any polar bear in igloo smileys here? Nope. Can we send JT up to the Arctic to pick some up?)

Monty

Brilliant...and Canadian
In the Parks

Given that WDW has been colder than Ottawa for periods over the last week or two.... Igloo jokes are better suited to the locals!

No Polar Bears, but here's a snowman:

Perfectly Acceptable.

It's not my favorite, It's just hearing people who refuse to see it ticks off the dormant part of me that thinks it's not THAT bad...I've heard some great singers there too.

Honestly if your going to a theme park to hear people sing that is sad. Performing is another thing, but i've heard many better singers on the new york city subway system (now thats high quality entertainment) than in the AI Experience. The 79 dollars i spent to get into the park could have been much better spent going to a concert or opera witha actually extremelly talanted professional singers. IMO

They could just change it over to the X-Factor Experience since that's the show Simon's leaving Idol to bring over to the US.

All they'd have to do is redecorate and change the name, they can use all of the same voting, etc.

Bingo! If they do it quick enough, they may actually get a decent run out of it b/c x-factor should be pretty popular. Like most, haven't seen it in it's other versions, but it sounds like it will be as good if not better than AI.

Without Simon, American Idol will lose probably more than half of their audience when the next season starts. I think Ellen will do a good job, but back on topic. Since Simon is leaving American Idol's next season, could be it's last. Plus they would have to find a new host.

The attraction will probably go with the show. They'll probably replace it with the X Factor! Or America's got Talent, which I wouldn't mind, it would probably be more interesting, because America's got Talent has more of a variety of talents other than singing.

Thinking about this again, idk if they would be able to do it. On X-Factor, they split contestants into 4 groups, over 25, men, women and groups. The first 3 they can handle, but the groups part alone I think might kill the idea of this even happening. They are having trouble getting solo singers to audition for AIE, how would they get groups in there on a daily basis to perform?

For crying out loud, it only lasts 30 minutes. It's worth going to see for the production aspect alone. Better and more fulfilling than waiting in line for Toy Story Midway Mania.

I don't think anyone would pay 80 dollars just to see a 30 minute attraction... People go to see if they like it, and than they go on other rides!

Yep, he's planning to bring us X-Factor.

IMO, this proves what many of us said in the first place when AIE opened at DHS: even though the theme park attraction is surprisingly good, they waited too long to create it. Once Simon leaves, AI will be as pop-culture dead as Survivor.

Yeah as dead as Survivor being in its 20th season and still winning its time slot week after.... Idol still will have a few more years in it post Simon I am sure

Idol mania

I think personally that Disney will keep the idol attraction for several years to come...I don't think Simon leaving will have any say so on if the attraction stays or goes. Maybe the attraction will change in 20 years...and thats being optimistic
