Can we have @marni1971 narrate it?
I fear it’s more likely that they just shutter the area entirely, like they did to Global Neighborhood back when AT&T left. I guess it’s a good sign that it hasn’t happened yet, but it could once Disney decides it doesn’t want to staff and maintain that area anymore. Let’s hope a new sponsor comes along before that happens. The sign that comes to mind is the large Project Tomorrow sign as you exit the ride; unlike the outdoor signs, the Siemens tag is an integrated piece of the sign. They could absolutely cover it up or insert something else in there ("only at Epcot!"), but it's not a separate chunk like the others. Curious to see how they'll handle it. And all of Project Tomorrow, for that matter, since it's all Siemens-themed in one way or another.View attachment 266784
If we're going the sponsorship route, just raise a couple hundred million and have Disney rebuild Horizons for us. That way, people on this board can stop complaining.

This, totally this!! @marni1971 MarieHow about you hop aboard your timemachine and select your favorite @marni1971 video to watch throughout an empty SSE. The execs would love it considering their fondness for screenz. "Spaceship Martin presented by WDWMagic.com"
I would not know, but basing the love for Horizons (and Epcot Center) from "new" and old imagineers on Twitter, it seems they would love to create something to that scale again. When you see something about Horizons pop up and then see them "heart" it, you can figure out their stance on it. I'm not trying to read too much into it, but it really feels that way.@marni1971 in all these years have you ever heard of any concepts for a follow up to Horizions? (long-shot, I know)

I would pay for a VR experience of old Epcot Center, ~ 1990, where you could walk around, see the old exhibits, "ride" the old attractions.....Man do we get antidepressants as we leave the ride? A ride full of look how cool EPCOT used to be. Don't you wish it was this cool again.
How can they create a whole new nighttime spectacular when they can't even change a damn sign?So that site is saying that vocals and score are being recorded for the Illuminations replacement and that it is being fast tracked. Any word on this? Thoughts?
I have a hard time believing we're months out, but who knows anymore.
I am probably going to need every anti-depressant ever made once they are done with Epcot.Man do we get antidepressants as we leave the ride? A ride full of look how cool EPCOT used to be. Don't you wish it was this cool again.

Even though I enjoy Spaceship Earth, the Death Star idea is an interesting one!Time for "Star Wars: The Death Star Experience" to takeover Spaceship Earth!
