Oh no! I hope you feel better!

Yes I got sick in December 2012 (I think it came from me sitting by a little boy that kept sneezing while I was waiting for the afternoon MK parade). I think it was a bad cold because I got cold really easily, I wouldn't eat, and I kept sneezing and coughing. I had to miss half of a day at Epcot so I didn't get to ride my favorite Epcot rides and I had to miss Illuminations which made me really sad. Then I had to miss a day at DHS, but I came to eat at Sci-fi since that's one of my favorite restaurants. It was bad. It was my first time to get sick at WDW. :(

That's terrible! I hate this! We were supposed to spend the day with my cousins family at MK and get lunch at BOG. :(

I had the Beef Murray which is what I got last time I was there. I didn't have problems then! I am just miserable today! And it's only a 3 day trip so I'm hoping I'll be okay by tomorrow since its our last day and the dessert party!
My husband has been sick several times at Disney and he swears its from the plane ride!! You should see what we pack when we head down to Disney, pepto, immodium, robitussiin, advil cold and sinus, excedrin, flonase, you name it, its there LOL Its a matter of IF he gets sick, I got him covered!! LOL But try to drink as much water, carbonated drinks as you can... flush that bad puppy out!!

Spent a day in bed at the CBR years ago.

If you're sick in a park, make it the MK. And have a good nosey at whats left of the original, fully equipped mini hospital behind the Crystal Palace!

Getting sick at WDW is not a good thing. In 1996 my brother and his children caught a stomach virus which had them all throwing up for 24 hrs. In 2006 my wife caught a bug after eating at Ohanas, i don't think it was the food cause i was eating it also. I caught a bad cold while at the world in 2010, lost my voice, my wife had to order my food for me at the 50's prime time. I hope you are feeling better, hopefully a 24 hour bug and nothing worse.

I was sick on our honeymoon. I was super stressed before our wedding, and at the time I was stupid enough to smoke socially, but I think I overdid it before the wedding w/ stress smoking and between the stress and smoking I got a wonderful upper respiratory infection while we were there. I did manage to get 24 hrs. of rest though and felt much better. My husband got a letter on our wedding day saying he'd made it to the next level for the police exam, and the test was the next weekend! He tried to postpone, but they wouldn't let him, so he ended up having to fly out of our honeymoon and back home for 24 hrs. to take the test. Luckily, while he was gone I was at my worst, so I basically just chilled out and slept. I do have to say though that the lady in the POR gift shop was so nice. I was getting supplies and we were talking about how my husband had to leave, and she sent a gift basket to our room for me!

I hope you get better SOON! Can they give you an IV to help flush it our of you sooner?

Nope, no IV. :( He gave me a prescription for nausea pills and told me to drink Gatorade and avoid solid foods til tomorrow. He said its viral because he hasn't had anyone else complaining of food poisoning.

On my last trip my friend got sick on our 2nd to last day there. We wondered about food poisoning at first but it was a fast acting flu virus. She was sick another week after we got home.

My mom was sick on my last trip with her (4 or 5 years ago now) We had just gotten to Epcot and somehere between walking from the entrance to the Canadian Pavilion she had major stomach upset and had to run to the washroom. I went back to our resort with her (POR) and left her there then joined the rest of our group. When we checked in with her about 4 hours later she had been feeling much better and she joined us for dinner that night...didn't eat much but wasn't too bad. The next day she was perfectly fine like nothing ever happened.

Drink lots and lots of fluids...even if you don;t feel like drinking more. My mom felt terrible when she got sick but we plied her with water and gatorade and the next day she was back with us in the parks. I hope you get better...I'm sending some good wishes your way.

I know, you're right... I haven't eaten or drank anything since I woke up. I've just started on some Gatorade and DH got me some ginger ale. Now I need to locate something not solid to eat before I die of starvation!

That's the best thing. I know it's tough when you're sick to think of filling up on liquids but just keep reminding yourself that it will help and that you will do anything to get better. good luck!

So I'm currently sitting at Buena Vista Urgent Care. I'm pretty sure Raglan Road poisoned me last night. Since I woke up I've been unable to make it 10 feet without sweating through my clothes and feeling the need to vomit (but not doing it). Anyway, I'm here now begging for drugs. Anyone else been sick at Disney? I never realized this could happen!

ouch, feel better!

( in Ragland roads defense I am pretty sure that place once cured me of diseases. at the very least they helped me overcome sobriety one evening)

Yes! I once had a cold when I flew down. Mistake. My eardrum blew out from the pressure. Another time I had a scratched cornea and I couldn't do anything without my eye watering and burning. But it's Disney! Way better than chicken soup :)

I think I got heat stroke/heat exhaustion on our last trip. My family went to play mini golf at Fantasia Gardens, and I definitely didn't drink enough water, and it was HOT. We were staying at the Beach Club, and halfway through our walk back I started feeling sick. I had some water and a nap, and we went to Downtown Disney.I was worried I was going to throw up all over a store, so I went outside with my mom, made a beeline for a bench. She was so confused haha. I was sitting there with my head between my knees, concentrating on not throwing up, and a really nice lady came over to see if I was ok, and she gave me a bottle of water (she had a bunch unopened in her backpack). At this point I was basically crying and trying not to vomit, so my mom went to find the rest of my family, and a security guard also came to see if I was ok. We got back to the resort, I took some Pepto Bismol, and threw up a bunch of times. It was gross. But I was amazed at how nice people were. We were staying Club Level, and the concierge people brought ginger ale to the room, it was very sweet.

6 trips in a row..never been sick however I must add that 2 weeks prior to take off (lol) I start blowing lysol around my cube at work any time anybody uses anything in my cube, sneezes near my cube, touches anything in cube...JUST to make sure I don't get sick. So far so good based on past history.

My coworkers think I'm a bit..... about it :D

Here's hoping that you get well SOON!

We haven't had any illnesses at WDW (and hope never to) but our youngest split his chin open on his first ever trip while getting out of the bathtub at Port Orleans. His mother the nurse practitioner whipped out her bag and threw 4 sutures in quick as a bunny. Slapped a bandage over it and the kid never lost a beat.
