Than do not eat there or shop there
I dont

I for one shop this location every trip to Walt Disney World. I find the lines are always short and there is a wide selection of toys for the Grandkids. Maybe it the same as other locations, I just like this one.
I will sleep like the King of the Seven Kingdoms tonight now that you have shared this information with me.

Well, if you DO have a two hour wait, as you claim, you can meet Donald & Goofy or Minnie & Daisy in the sideshow. You can hop onboard the train for a lovely round-trip ride around the Magic Kingdom. You can pop over to Fantasyland or Tomorrowland to see if there's anything to do over there. If you are in the Magic Kingdom and can't think of a SINGLE thing to occupy yourself and your family, well then that's a failing on you.
When did I say two hours? You need to put down the Dungeons and Dragons cards if your gonna participate in the conversation but cant multi task. And do the pagers work all the way over in Tomorrowland or on the Train?

When did I say two hours?

Im definitely jaded, but mostly towards the non stop excuse making. I want kids to have all the fun they can. Id like Disney to design better areas that can accommodate both children and adults alike though, you know, they way they used to. I have no desire to hold on to an Outback Steakhouse style pager when my only two options while waiting for Dumbo is sitting in a tent with screaming children or watching them get wet in a splash area, which I think is silly for any parent to allow considering the Florida Sun you keep mentioning could possibly give them a rash after they get soaked and then sit in the stroller for 2 hours while their Underoos bake like a fecal matter souffle

There ya go.

Storybook Circus is part of New Fantasyland and it's a theme park ghetto. Naked children running around, faded ugly tents and giant posters. BUT OMG THERES PEANUT PRINTS IN THE PAVEMENT BECUZ ITS A CIRCUS WITH ELEPHANTS

Storybook Circus is a failure, and it has no place in the #1 theme park in the world. Wipe it and the speedway off the map with an actual themed land with actual capacity; and we'd be in the 21st century.

Those peanuts in the pavement are all fun and games until someone has an allergic reaction to them. ;)

Why is it considered impossible with some to both have fun and notice problems? That's what I would like to know. If I notice a broken effect or other problem in a ride that doesn't ruin my enjoyment of said ride. If I notice the same thing on my next trip that's when it starts to get to me. Living with the Land, Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear, it's a small world (I think you get the idea at this point) come to mind.

And that's fine. It's when people start inventing things to be outraged about, as noted earlier in this thread, is when I start to question things.

The 2 hours was not a reference towards a wait time for Dumbo. Where did you get that? I was simply refering to the amount of time the average child probly sits in there at a time.

Why would they be in the stroller waiting for Dumbo if they could play in the soak areas which I WAS reffering to.

Then maybe you should make that clear if you're going to participate in the conversation but can't multi-task.

Why would a kid be sitting in a stroller waiting for Dumbo when the referenced Splash Area and Scream tent are available? Its common sense

You tell me! You're the one who suggested it! I'm beginning to think the "baked fecal matter souffle" is in your mind and not anyone's diaper....

Oh yeah, look at this....

Take today at AK for example. EL went down for appx 2 hours and Dinosaur went down for 30 minutes also. It caused a nightmare of a traffic jam for most of that side of the park. There is no answer to a problem like that. Ride capacity reared it's ugly head at AK on a day like today (only for awhile). It was truly ugly though.

Found another time you said 2 hours. Try and weasel your way out of this one.

There's a "world" of difference between a giant, broken Yeti or a busted major effect that lingers in it's 'busted-ness' and faded signs. One is a 'normal', understandable wear and tear sort of thing that hardly anyone would notice (unless you dig finding fault) and the other, especially after a lot of time passes, is actually a reason to complain. The signs still work and don't cause anyone (unless you dig finding fault) an issue or hinder vacation enjoyment. The 'big deal' stuff is a big deal that a lot more folks notice and alters what you are getting for your vacation dollar. Signs? No. As mentioned ad nauseum, it's impossible to keep everything exposed to Florida sun, water, intense heat, vibration and normal wear and tear all perfect, all the time. The stuff is aging too. If you shut it down, refurb it, replace it, then you get folks who gripe that their vacation is ruined because something was closed or not there anymore. TDO can't win.
"Hey, wifey, the kids can't play in the splash zone today because they are replacing signs or are fixing a busted spitting critter"
"Oh, hubby, our vacation is lessened by this and the wee ones are getting hot and grumpy."
vs.
"Oh wifey, the sign is faded."
"Meh"

Is that a thing? You can take that pager to the splash area? I don't think that's right.
You're correct, the pagers aren't supposed to leave the Dumbo play area and won't likely function anyway. Plus you'd have to bypass any standby line when you return.

My kids love the Dumbo play area, even though it's rarely necessary to stop there. The CM's usually look at us confused and hand is a pager while instructing us that it won't actually buzz. I haven't seen that system in use since its opening year.
