Yeah, this irony is ridiculous. I wish my Marine Grandpa (and his tattoo's) was alive to kick your $$@.
i would def say no. just don't think Walt would like to see something like that on the World property.
I really think they were being ironic. They didn't really mean that Disney should build a liquor store or loan depot. I think they were being sarcastic. They were stating something, but they did not mean it. One of the most common forms of irony - sarcasm.
Either way, I didn't mean to offend you! I've inserted a smiley into my original comment in the hopes of lightening up my post.
I'm sure he'd be ecstatic at the idea of them building a bowling alley.
Morocco in Epcot used to do Henna last I recall.
While I agree that a tattoo shop does not belong in Disney, I am somewhat offended (as a tattoo artist, as well as someone with alot of body art), that people insist on grouping people with tattoos that they require booze, check cashing stores in the vicinty, etc. 80% of people with tattoos, the general public would never even know that the people that have them. So I pose the question, just because a person has one, does that change the way they are thought of?. If that answer is yes, then I guess society is becoming even more shallow than I thought.
great idea!
And on either side of the new tat shop they could put a waffle house and an abc liquor store....maybe a payday loan location right under the castle.
That brings a scary reality into the "Disney Bubble," you wouldn't want your young ones to think "Oh tattoos are okay, they have them at Disney World!" would you?
Obviously there are issues with "real" tattoos, but I wouldn't see the harm of a kiosk/shop doing henna tattoos in DTD.
I bet there are plenty of artists that can pull it off. A friend of mine has "Hakuna Matata" tattooed on his leg in the classic Disney font, and it looks spot-on.

As to the OP, I agree with everyone, a big fat no! if you want to get a tattoo at a theme park, go to Universal City Walk.

BTW - Do you know what "irony" is? Because neither of the statements you are quoting are "ironic" in the least bit.
