So in another thread on here the subject about the rides that take your pic was discussed;so instead of buying them, people actually take a photo of the photo for whatever reason.

Someone suggested that these ride pics be able to be included with photopass, and those who have photopass would have be able to access and buy those ride pics.

So what do you think?

Would you like to have the ride pics available to be bought with photopass or leave it seperate, and why do you say so???

I would say yes to having the pictures on photopass. I am more inclined to purchase a photopass CD at the end of my trip than I am to purchase one picture at the end of Tower of Terror or Splash Mountain. The only on-ride photo that I have ever "purchased" was Test Track and that was because it was included on my photopass CD.

Absolutely. I know I have regretted no getting on ride pictures after they are taken and long gone. Photopass would make it a lot easier.

Yeah, I definitely think it would be a lot easier to buy those photos with photopass, and Disney might even make more that way.

My introduction to the photo pass was from Test track. It is so much easier to scan your card and look at the photo for purchase later.

On an earlier trip we purchased a ride photo from Splash Mountain and had a heck of a time trying to protect it from damage for the rest of the night.

Include them on the PhotoPass! Sure, you might not get a special frame that says 'Splash Mountain' with the picture, but you'd save more time and possibly money buying them all together at once.

I'd love this. I always buy (and most of the time pre-buy) my Photo CD, just because I know I'm going to want my family photos from the trip. Getting these would be such a bonus! I probably buy 1 ride shot per trip (or maybe 1 every other trip), but I'd be thrilled to get them all on my photopass!

I can not see a reason why you would not want to include the pictures on photopass. It seems like a great idea, as long as you can still buy the ride pictures seperately. If someone has a good reason why not to do it I would like to hear why and see some input from the otherside.

Bingo. If you really want that Splash Mountain frame, just allow us to order it on the Photopass website when we order our CD/Prints.

I wonder how long it will take Disney to consider this and get this change in place?

Depends on how soon they refurb the attractions. They obviously must make enough from selling the pictures to continue the practice. So why take out something that makes at least some profit? Knowing Disney, they would need to ensure it is a cost savings to make the switch. I think that Space Mountain is kind of a test run. If they find that there is interest, then I can easily see them doing the same at the other locations.

Also, depends on how much filtering they choose to do. Flash Mountain I think is currently un filtered, but they shouldn't let you buy the picture. But if they switch to PhotoPass, now they need to filter all the pictures again. Otherwise little Suzy gets home to look at the pictures they took on vacation, and BLAMMO! there is Chrissy Co-Ed showing herself for all to see.

But I'm wondering how many more guests would be inclined to purchase the PhotoPass CD if they knew they could put their on-ride photos on it as well!?!

I've never bought an on-ride photo... but it would certainly encourage me to purchase the CD if they were included (although, in my case I usually do pre-purchase the CD anyway).

Maybe if it was an extra fee... for x number of dollars you can add any on-ride photos from your trip to your PhotoPass card and then load them on your CD (or whatever you plan to do with your pictures)!?!

I don't know, what do you all think!?!
