Shooting the Breeze with our Magic Friends

Ours doesn't do that unless you were to only miss the last hour or so. She left at lunch one day when she had one round of strep. We took her to stat care and they gave us a medical excuse. Which I thought weren't counted against her. I'm taking her current excuse in tomorrow and talking to them. She's an honor roll student for heaven's sake...not a truant.

Huh. I remember using that as an excuse so I could still have perfect attendance. I would get my attandance taken, then head right for the nurse's office and go home again.

We're all under the weather. not "sick" per se, but just feeling icky. Then Marc's job took up most of the day, and we didn't get to go to the pancake breakfast and Maple Syrup festival like we were supposed to. Then I had to go to church with just the girl because Marc was working, and the girl had a holy meltdown and we had to walk out. :(
((Hugs))

But you're going to Disney again soon aren't you?

Hi guys. :)

Those high school years will fly by!
They really do! I'm still in shock that I only have one and a-pinch-more-than-1/4 years left in high school. :(

When I was a freshman, and my Peer Leaders were telling me to enjoy high school because it goes by at high speed...I thought they were just full of it.
Now that I'm a Peer Leader, I find myself saying that to my freshmen.

I've now completed three college visits.
I really liked two of the schools...the other one, not as much. :)

Hi Jen! Long time no see!!

My eventual goal is to be a high school guidance counselor, but that requires a master's degree. But before I can get that, I obviously need a bachelor's degree. So for undergrad, I'm thinking of something like psychology or sociology or social work. :)

Way to go! You have a compassionate nature, so that seems a perfect choice!
